As a result, the tapes on the inner peripheral part and outer peripheral part of the tape drum can be connected to each other and the connection of a plurality of tape drums is enabled too. Therefore, the cassette in which the case is made multistage is constituted by using the property.

CONSTITUTION:The above device is provided with an endless dummy tape 50 which is constituted of an elastic material having a big coefficient of friction with the magnetic tape and wider than the magnetic tape and where a grooved part 50a having the same width as the magnetic tape and a shallower depth than the thickness of the magnetic tape is formed on one surface and a dummy tape winding member 60 so that they are stored in the recessed part 20a of a magnetic tape cassette 20. In a loading condition, a magnetic tape 1 and the dummy tape 50 travel on the same route overlappingly and only the dummy tape 50 is driven by a driving source.

摘要： PURPOSE:To store an endless tape without bringing a tape surface into contact with each other, by attracting and rotating a housing member having an air column divided in multiple pieces radiantly from a center part, and housing the endless tape in curved shape. CONSTITUTION:The air of the air column 5 in the housing member 2 is attracted by driving a suction air pump, and negative pressure is generated in the air column 5, and the tape delivered by a capstan 17 and a pinch roller 19 at an entry side is attracted and inserted in the air column 5. In other words, the housing member 2 is rotated by a rotary shaft, and each of the air columns 51-5n is conformed to the capstan 17 and the pinch roller 19 at the entry side sequentially, and the tape is attracted in the air column 5 sequentially, then is inserted and housed in the curved shape. In such a way, it is possible to store the endless tape without generating abrasion.
