    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic unit capable of increasing the pressure resistance of a valve plate without using a web. SOLUTION: The hydraulic unit is provided with first and second support structures to eliminate the use of webs within an arcuate inlet and outlet of the valve plate. Specifically, a valve plate body extends between inner and outer edges wherein, in a first state, the outer edge is placed in close proximity to the first support structure and the inner edge is placed in close proximity to the second support structure. Thus, the pressure of liquid flowing through the arcuate inlet and outlet deflects the inner and outer edges to be engaged with the first or second support structure, respectively. Accordingly, a part of the stress applied to the valve plate body is passed to the first or second support structure to reinforce the valve plate. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
