    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact sensor which eliminates malfunctioning even under any impact received from the direction vertical (horizontal) to the direction of detecting acceleration and moreover, can reduce variations in the sensitivity of the sensor regardless of the direction of an impact even under any repeated impacts received in a prolonged use thereof. SOLUTION: In the case of the impact sensor, a magnetic lead switch 2 is installed concentrically within a hollow circle of a shaft 8, so that the center position between a pair of contacts 28a and 29b is arranged almost on the center axis regulating the hollow circle of the shaft 8 in the transverse direction as in the past. A hollow cylindrical permanent magnet 3', which is formed with the hollow circle eccentric to the center axis thereof, is so shaped as to have thick and thin parts integrally in the transverse direction and arranged on the outer circumferential surface of the shaft 8, so that the direction of the center of gravity existing at the thick part coincides with the direction of gravity thereof. Thus, the shaft 8 is made hard to vibrate even under any impact received from sideways, thereby being highly hindered from contacting the contacts 28a and 29a.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a vibration detector which is low-cost and solid and by which a seismic intensity can be detected with high reliability. SOLUTION: A magnet 14 is suspended by a twisted thread 12 from an arm 10 which is extended nearly in the horizontal direction. A dish 16 whose inner face is spherical is arranged on the lower side of the suspended magnet 14. A plurality of magnetism sensing switches 18 which sense magnetism at a definite value or more so as to be changed to an ON-operation from an OFF- operation are arranged in positions at a definite radial distance in the transverse direction from the suspended magnet 14. An iron bolt 20 is fitted to the center of the spherical dish 16 corresponding to a part just under the magnet 14 in a standstill state. A shaft 26 is inserted into, and passed through, the base end of the arm 10. The shaft 26 is turned freely by a height adjusting knob 28. Thereby, the height of the magnet 14 with reference to the inner face of the spherical dish 16 can be adjusted, and a detection seismic intensity can be adjusted fine. A detection circuit 30 monitors all the magnetism sensing switches 18. When any of the switches 18 is turned on, an earthquake detection signal is supplied to a warning device 32, a protective device and a monitoring center.
