The planetary gear set 21 is composed by taking a connecting member 22 between a rear input disk 9 of the continuously variable transmission mechanism 5 and the input shaft 3 for a carrier C1, and adding to this, a rotatably supported stepped pinion 23, and sun gears S1 and S2 which are meshed with a small diameter gear part 23a and a large diameter gear part 23b, and the transmission output shaft 24 is combined with the sun gear S1, and a motor/generator 2 and a back deceleration gear sets 31 and 41 are combined with the sun gear S2.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device for a vehicle that prevents wasted power consumption when power from a driving wheel side drives an auxiliary machine.SOLUTION: The driving device 10A includes: a torque convertor 12 with a lock-up clutch 15 which has a pump 13 connected to an output shaft 11a of an internal combustion engine 11 and a turbine 14 assembled with the pump 13; a power transmission mechanism 16 to which power is transmitted from the turbine 14; and an output shaft 18 to which the power is output from the power transmission mechanism 16 and which is installed so as to mutually transmit the power between the driving wheel 2 of the vehicle 1 and itself. In the driving device, the power of either the pump 13 or the output shaft 18 having larger rotation number than the other drives the auxiliary machine. The power transmission mechanism 16 includes a transmission control clutch 19 and a transmission control brake 20 which limit power transmission between the turbine 14 and the output shaft 18.
