    • PURPOSE:To facilitate to keep the angle of a lateral vane by a method wherein a central bearing structure is combined with ratchet pawls in case the lateral vane is long in the lengthwise direction thereof and is to be divided at the center thereof. CONSTITUTION:Divided lateral vanes 3 are inserted into the lateral vane inserting section 16 of a connecting member 5 to integrate them. A holding member 6 is inserted into the gap 18 of the connecting member, an U-groove 9 is abutted against a shaft 15 and the holding member 6 is forced into the long hole notch 12 of a bearing member 11. The stopper 7 of the holding member 6 is fitted into a square hole 13 for the stopper. The U-groove 9 and the long notch 12 constitute a circular section after assembling and become the bearing section of the shaft 15. The ratchet pawls 8 of the holding member 6 and protected and recessed section 14, formed on the circumference of a semi-circular section 17 for the connecting member 5, are arranged concentrically with the bearing section while the tip ends of the ratchet pawls 8, provided with the property of a spring, are pinched slightly by the recesses of the protruded and recessed section 14. Accordingly, the integrated lateral vanes 3 may be held in any arbitrary angle within an angle alpha deg. in accordance with the number of pitches of the protruded and recessed section 14.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the number of connecting wires between indoor and outdoor units by a method wherein a contact of a first defrosting thermostat is connected in series with a timing relay motor of a second defrosting thermostat while a contact of the second defrosting thermostat is connected in series with a timing relay motor of the first defrosting thermostat. CONSTITUTION:In case where heat exchangers of first and second outdoor units are defrosted so that the surface temperature of each of the heat exchangers falls down below the set temperature of the first defrosting thermostat 14 and the set time for the timing relay motor 19 of the first thermostat 14 expires, the contact 16 of the thermostat is opened, an auxiliary relay coil 8 and a four- way valve coil 12 are deenergized and a defrosting operation for the first outdoor unit is started. In this case, since the contact 16 of the thermostat 14 is opened, the timing relay motor 18 of the second defrosting thermostat 15 of the second outdoor unit is deenergized. Thus, when a defrosting operation for the second outdoor unit is started, the first outdoor unit is so controlled that the defrosting operation for the unit is not started.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent cool air from blowing out during defrosting operation, by connecting an auxiliary electric heater for heating to star-delta connection circuits, and by operating an air conditioner by a star connection during heating and by a delta connection during defrosting. CONSTITUTION:The auxiliary electric heater 27 is connected to a contact point 25 between the contact (52H)6 of an electromagnetic contactor and an exciting coil (42H)24, and also to star-delta connection circuits. When the low temperature side L of a temperature adjuster 22 is in an ON condition, a contact 29 is closed by an exciting coil X2 being excited, an exciting coil 52H is energized, a contact (52H)6 is closed, and an auxiliary electric heater 27 is functioned to heat by a star connection. During defrosting operation, on the other hand, an exciting coil X2 is energized by a timer switch 26, a contact 29 is opened, while a contact 28 is closed, an exciting coil 42H is energized to close a contact (42H)25 and to open a contact (52H)6, and an auxiliary electric heater 27 is operated by a delta connection.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain an air-cooled heat exchanger for a refrigerator and the like which is short of parts, connecting parts, of small gas-leakage, and excellent in reliability, mass-productivity by a method wherein a plurality of fin plates provided with vein-shaped passages having exceedingly fine diameters in the middle are arranged in parallel and collecting pipes are connected with both their ends. CONSTITUTION:High tension gas compressed by a compressor 9 enters vein-shaped passages 13 of the heat exchanger 12 from the collecting pipe 15, is heat-exchanged by an outdoor fan 21 with the outdoor air 25 which is drafted forcedly between the fins 12 and condensed and liquefied. This liquefied high tension liquid runs through exceedingly fine diameter parts 14 provided in the vein-shaped passages 13, is reduced in pressure, flows into the vein-shaped passages 13 of the indoor fins 12, is heat-exchanged by an indoor fan 20 with the indoor air forcedly drafted between the fins 12 and is cooled. Then, the liquid is returned from the collecting pipe 16 to the compressor 9. Thus, this heat exchanger can be composed of small numbers of parts, connecting parts, can prevent gas leakage and improve reliability and productivity of the equipment.
