    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a functional particle-containing intraoral disintegrative preparation, by which the preparation having a good oral touch, hardly permitting the proliferation of saprophytes and capable of being easily dried is obtained without damaging the functional particles in a compression process and without causing a difference in the contents of the functional particles between the preparations.
      SOLUTION: The method for producing the functional particle-containing intraoral disintegrative preparation is characterized by filling a mold with an aqueous dispersion containing (a) a dispersing agent having a dispersion- maintaining factor of ≥75% and a viscosity of ≤100 mPa.s, when homogeneously added to water in a concentration of 1 wt.%, (b) a water-soluble saccharide, and (c) the functional particles, and then removing water.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new ABC transporter gene encoding a polypeptide constituting an ATP-binding cassette transporter of Pseudomonas fluorescens and capable of efficiently producing useful proteins, e.g. lipase, by microbes.
      SOLUTION: This new ABC transporter gene is such one as to encode a polypeptide constituting an ATP-binding cassette transporter of Pseudomonas fluorescens, consisting of e.g. a polypeptide having the amino acid sequence described in formula I to III, or a polypeptide having an amino acid sequence wherein one or several amino acid residue(s) is (are) added, deleted or substituted in the above amino acid sequence and to efficiently produce useful proteins, e.g. lipase through the function of secreting proteins extracellularly. This gene is obtained by separating a chromosomal DNA from the Pseudomonas fluorescens No.33 strain and conducting PCR using a primer consisting of a partial sequence of the ABC transporter gene.

    • PURPOSE: To provide a composite transfusion containing a reducing sugar, physiological amino acid and electrolyte at specific balanced ratio, excellent from nutritional viewpoint, and capable of suppressing the browning phenomenon.
      CONSTITUTION: The objective composite transfusion essentially resistant to discoloration can be prepared by using a reducing sugar (e.g. glucose, maltose, etc.), physiological amino acids, and electrolytes of the table I at ratios and amounts shown in the table. The concentration product of the reducing sugar and amino acid is preferably 7W25, especially 12W24 to improve the stability of the transfusion. The pH of the transfusion is preferably 4.0W6.0. It can be prepared according to the method used in the preparation of transfusion or injections, and may be sterilized by heating. Since the transfusion can be used as it is without combining with other agent, various problems caused by the combined use, e.g. variation of pH, contamination with microorganisms and foreign materials, etc., can be avoided.
