    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stopper for a long object, which can simply be mounted in a spool to surely hold the long object, enables to smoothly pull out the long object from the spool, and can be produced at a low cost.
      SOLUTION: This stopper for the long object can rotatably be fit to a winding portion (5) for winding the long object (6) in a spool (2) for the long object. Long nipping portions (7) are formed in both the end portions in the longitudinal direction along the circumferential direction of the winding portion (5). A press portion (8) and long object-receiving portions (9) are formed in the middle portion of the longitudinal direction. Guide routes (10) are formed between end edges or side edges and the long object-receiving portions (9). The distance between both the nipping portions (7) is narrower than the outer diameter of the winding portion (5), and can be widened in a larger size than the outer diameter of the winding portion (5) by elastic deformation. The press portion (8) is formed over the approximately whole width of the winding portion (5). The long object-receiving portions (9) are formed at sites sufficiently separated from both the nipping portions (7) along the circumferential direction of the winding portion (5).

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separate type spool whose both spool portions can be connected without clutter to form a smoothly continuous cylindrical surface on the outer peripheral surface of a body portion, and in which a long object wound on the body portion is not bit between both the spool portions and can smoothly be paid out from the winding portion.
      SOLUTION: The spool for the long object includes a cylindrically formed body portion 2 and a pair of flange portions 3 extended from both the side ends of the body portion 2 on the radially outsides. A winding portion 4 is formed around the body portion 2 between both the flange portions 3. The body portion 2 is divided on a plane orthogonal to the axis. The first spool portion 1a including the first body portion part 2a and the second spool portion 1b including the second body portion part 2b are connected to each other in both the body portion parts 2a, 2b. A circular projected portion 8 is formed on the peripheral edge of the connection end surface of the first body portion part 2a. A circular dent portion 9 is formed in a portion facing the circular projected portion 8 of the second body portion part 2b. When both the body portion parts 2a, 2b are connected, the circular projected portion 8 is fit to the circular dent portion 9.
