    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spool for a long object, in which the starting end portion of the long object can simply be fixed to the spool to easily wind the long object in a winding portion in a simple structure at a low cost regardless of the thickness of the long object.
      SOLUTION: The spool for the long object has a cylindrically formed body portion (2) and a pair of flange portions (3) extended from both the side ends of the body portion (2) on the radially outer sides, in which the winding portion (5) is formed on the periphery of the body portion (2) between both the flange portions (3). A through-hole (10) is formed in the body portion (2) facing the winding portion (5), and the starting end portion (4a) of the long object (4) is inserted from the inside of the winding portion (5) to the outside of the winding portion (5). The through-hole (10) is formed in a long opening shape in the winding direction (D) of the long object (4). A wide opening portion (12) having a larger opening width (W) than the thickness of the long object (4) is formed in the opening of the through-hole (10). The opening width (W) is reduced toward the downward side in the winding direction from the wide opening portion (12).

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a leader with a fishhook from entangling on a lure or fishing line, and also to ensure the fishhook to be movable freely within a range specified by the length of the leader.
      SOLUTION: One end (2a) of the leader (2) is equipped with a joining element (5) for a lure (3) and a fishing line (4), while the other end (2b) is fixed with the fishhook (6). The joining element (5) includes a first junction (7) to which the fishing line (4) is joined, a second junction (8) to which the lure (3) is joined, and a shaft (9) joining both of the junctions (7 and 8) to each other. A circular part (13) is formed on the one end (2a) of the leader (2) and externally engaged so as to be turnable around the shaft (9). The size of the circular part (13) is so small that the junctions (7 and 8) cannot be threadable therethrough.
