    • PURPOSE:To perform corrugating and stopping automatically and rationalize the work by utilizing the centrifugal forces of a rotary disc and increasing said forces by means of cams thereby performing corrugating. CONSTITUTION:In the case of corrugating a pipe P while moving the same through an insertion hole 2, the positions of stoppers 8 are determined by adjusting bolts 8b, and the cams 5 suited for the amplification multiple by prescribed centrifugal forces are selected by operating fixing bolts. At the same time, weights 7 are determined by calculation, and the angles of corrugating rollers R are adjusted in compliance with the pitch of waveform grooves and this completes the preparation for corrugating. When a rotary disc 1 rotates, the weights 7 are turned by the rotating centrifugal forces thereof, and abut on the stoppers 8, thereby stably making the depth of the grooves constant. Push holders 3 are shifted to the central direction by the position fluctuations of the turned cams 5 to allow the corrugating rollers R held to forks 4 to contact the circumferential surface of the pipe P to be treated under pressure, thereby forming waveform grooves on the circumferential surface of the pipe P along with the rotation of the rotary disc.

    • PURPOSE:To easily obtain a flexible tube of superior corrosion resistance by forming a bellows having an extension part at the end into one piece with a ringlike member and a blade, then folding back the extension part of said bellows and externally covering the weld zone. CONSTITUTION:With the end part of a bellows 55 left as an extension part 59, the top part 57 of the bellows 55 is aligned with the end 52 of a blade 51 and the inside circumferential edge 54 of a ring member 53 and these are made into one piece by welding the contact point 58. Thence, an axial pressure is applied to the extension part 59 of the bellows 55 from the right side to bend the extention part 59 until both parts contact closely with each other. As a result, the extention part 59 is folded back with the peak of the trough parts as its first fold back point 62 and the peak 70 of the crest part as the 2nd fold back point 63, thus the fold back part 61 is allowed to closely contact with the weld zone 58 and the outer side face 60 of the ringlike member 53, whereby the weld zone 58 is externally covered.

    • PURPOSE:To work the screws having sufficient practicable strength on a thin-walled pipe easily and highly accurately by fitting a mandrel die into the thin-walled pipe and revolving these under pressure between plural circular dies. CONSTITUTION:With circular dies 10, 11 and a mandrel die 12 being held spaced, a thin-walled pipe P being the work is fitted onto the die 12. The outside diameter of the die 12 is made approximately the same as the inside diameter of the pipe P. In this state, the dies 11-12 are rotated and the movable die 11 is moved to the die 12 side to push the die 12 and press it to the stationary die 10. As a result, the pipe P revolves in the same direction as that of the die 12 by receiving the rotating force of the die 12 from the inner side and the rotating forces of the dies 10, 11 from the outer side. The peripheral wall portions of the pipe P press-contacted with the dies 10-12 are pressed by the die screw parts 10a, 11a from the outer side and the screw parts 12a being reverse in crest and through from those of said parts from the inner side, thus it plastically deforms along the screw shape, whereby screws S1, S2 are formed on the inside and outside surfaces.

    • PURPOSE:To form uniform threads on a cylindrical work with a simple device by fitting and fixing the cylindrical work to a die having been inscribed with desired threads, and moving a pressing member while pressing the same to the work thereby transferring the threads of the revolving die to the work. CONSTITUTION:In forming threads to a cylindrical work such as pipe, the cylindrical work 8 is fitted onto a die 5 fixed to the revolving shaft of a gear box 1 and having been inscribed with desired threads and is fixed by means of a bolt 7. A pressing member 6 which is freely rotatively held to the end of a tool rest 3 mounted to a moving table 3a and is pressed in the vertical directions by a cylinder 4 is pressed to the work 8 along said threads and while the die 5 is being rotated, the pressing member 6 is moved by a screw shaft 2, whereby the threads of the die 5 are transferred to the work 8 and the threads are thus formed. This method does not require stringent mechanical accuracy or the like, is suited for the formation of the threads for which the evenness of shapes is required and is able to form threads on the inside surface of a pipe as well.
