摘要： PURPOSE:To form the deeply grooved corrugation in the pipe at high accuracy, by first forming the rough groove in the blank pipe which is then passed through the rotary screw die provided with the screw thread of small pitch, on purpose to narrow the pitch and deepen the groove. CONSTITUTION:The blank pipe 1 is fed at a constant speed, and two dies 15, 16, are driven at the same speed so as to screw the screw threads 18, 19, in the direction opposite against the advance of the pipe 1; hereby, the rough groove 20 is formed in the pipe 1. Then the pipe 1 is passed through the gap (d), and the deep groove forming die 16, and the rough groove 20 is engaged with the screw thread 19. Hereupon, the pitch of the rough groove 20 is larger than the pitch of the screw thread 19, so that the screw thread on the pipe 1 side is axially compressed by the screw thread 19 on the die 16 side, and the pitch of the screw thread is narrowed. Besides, the ravine of the rough groove 20 is radially compressed inward by the top of the screw thread 19, and the deep groove 21 is formed.

摘要： PURPOSE:To apply corrugating without any adverse influence upon sheath irrespective of the presence or not of fluctuations in extruding speed by controlling the rotating speeds of a take-up machine and corrugating head based on the signals of extruding speed and truck position detecting means. CONSTITUTION:When there is a fluctuation in extruding speed, first, an extruding speed detecting means 2 detects that change and sends a signal to a control unit 12. At the same time, a truck position detecting device 11 detects the moving speed of a truck 7 and sends a signal to the control unit 12. While reading the both signals, the control unit 12 sends its output signal to a motor 8 to decelerate the rotating speed of a take-up machine 4 so that the movement of the truck 7 is decelerated. Since the inertia force of the truck 7 annihilates sufficiently, no adverse influence is given to the metal sheath.
