    • PURPOSE:To enhance the comfortability, by applying different compensations to the cooling temperature of an air cooler in accordance with the operation and stopping of the air cooler so that the heating capacity of the air-cooler during stopping is made to be smaller than that during operation. CONSTITUTION:An inside temperature 33, an outside temperature 34, a set temperature 35, a cooling temperature 36, a heating medium temperature 37, and an air mixing position 38 are delivered to a control section 31 which carries out a predetermined program to actuate and stop an evaporator 15. At this time the cooling temperature Ta is multiplied by predetermined set proportional coefficients alpha, beta in accordance with the presence of the cooling operation of the evaporator 15. The coefficient alpha is made to correspond to the cooling operating condition and and the coefficient beta is made to correspond to the cooling stopping condition and is set to a value which is 1 to 2 times large as the value alpha. With this arrangement, the cooling temperature Ta of the evaporator 15 in the stopping condition is set to be apparently high in comparison with that in the operating condition, and therefore, it is possible to prevent low temperature air from being undesirably blown out, thereby it is possible to enhance the comfortability.

    • PURPOSE:To adequately save the cooling power in an air conditioner used for a vehicle, by detecting a variation rate of temperature decrease at the operation of room air conditioning refrigerating cycle and decreasing the cooling power when the variation rate is not less than a prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:Various kinds of information signals from a room temperature sensor 21, provided in the outside of a ventilating duct 1, inner-outer air damper 2 and a blow outlet damper 8, outside air temperature sensor 22, temperature setter 23 and an opening degree sensor 24 of a damper 7 are applied to a controller 10. Then the controller 10, when a refrigeration cycle is operated, detects a variation rate of room temperature decrease from those of the above informations to make its detection or decision ineffective for prescribed length of time, when the variation rate of decrease becomes at least a prescribed level, and decrease the cooling power of the refrigeration cycle excepting said ineffective time. In this way, the cooling power of the refrigeration cycle can be adequately saved in accordance with a state of decrease of the room temperature.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent noise from a blower by prohibiting an air conditioner from being operated at its maximum blasting capacity after an air blasting device has been energized for a specified period of time in a control device for an on-vehicle air conditioner where the amount of blow-off is linked with the adjustment of temperature. CONSTITUTION:When a temperature adjustment member 6 is regulated to a maximum control/heating position, a travelling contact 7a is connected with contacts 7b/7b' and contacts 7c/7c'. In this case, a timer circuit 8 allows a contact 8a to be closed for a certain period of time with a heater relay 3 turned on. Accordingly, all of current limit resistors R1 through R4 are short circuited by both the contact 8a and a program switch 7 allowing an air flow rate to be maximum. And when the contact 8a of the timer circucit 8a is opened after the time has been up, the resistors R2 and R3 are short-circuited making the contacts 7c/7c' short-circuit with exception of the resistor R1 so as to prohibit an air conditioner from being operated at its maximum blasting capacity. This configuration reduced noise from a blower.
