    • PURPOSE:To adequately save the cooling power in an air conditioner used for a vehicle, by detecting a variation rate of temperature decrease at the operation of room air conditioning refrigerating cycle and decreasing the cooling power when the variation rate is not less than a prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:Various kinds of information signals from a room temperature sensor 21, provided in the outside of a ventilating duct 1, inner-outer air damper 2 and a blow outlet damper 8, outside air temperature sensor 22, temperature setter 23 and an opening degree sensor 24 of a damper 7 are applied to a controller 10. Then the controller 10, when a refrigeration cycle is operated, detects a variation rate of room temperature decrease from those of the above informations to make its detection or decision ineffective for prescribed length of time, when the variation rate of decrease becomes at least a prescribed level, and decrease the cooling power of the refrigeration cycle excepting said ineffective time. In this way, the cooling power of the refrigeration cycle can be adequately saved in accordance with a state of decrease of the room temperature.

    • PURPOSE:To aim at the effective utilization of a little heat quantity at the time of idling or the like, by constituting an engine cooling water recovery air conditioner so as to select a blower of a front heater automatically to its minimum blast capacity with a detecting signal in an idling state. CONSTITUTION:An idling sensitive switch 54, which operates at the time of release of accelerator pedal operation or when an engine speed is below the specified value, is connected to an exciting coil of a blast value automatic limit relay 53 in series. Therefore, when a power switch 34 of a rear heater is turned on in idling, the blast value automatic limit relay 53 comes off. Accordingly, a blast capacity select switch 56 of a front heater blower 5 is given resistance load of a register 55 irrespective of the position of a level (unillustrated herein) and forcedly set to an Lo mode automatically, thus it comes into a maximum heating state. In consequence, a little heat quantity at the time of idling or the like is effectively utilized at its maximum whereby maximum heating is secured.

    • PURPOSE:To check an overheating of motors, transistors, etc., by arranging on the motor circuit a galvano-resistor and a power relay contact in series as well as normally open relay contacts in parallel, closing the normally open relay at the time of motor trouble and disconnecting power at the time of trouble still continuing. CONSTITUTION:Closing switches 2 and 3, when trouble happens after a motor 5 starts, i.e., when the current of a galvano-resistor 6 rises unusually, as well as when terminal voltage of the motor 5 drops abnormally, a normally open relay contact 19 being connected to a power transistor 7 in parallel is closed and motor current is by-passed, the torque of the motor 5 increases, trying to be rid of motor freeze. However, when trouble continues even after the lapse of a set time, voltage, current trouble detector circuits 9 and 10 and a logic circuit 11 generate signals and afterward they are outputted to time circuits 13 and 12. When this wrong state continues after the lapse of a fixed time, a transistor 15 is turned to OFF by a hold circuit 14 and a power relay 4 becomes unenergized and held.

    • PURPOSE:To facilitate installation by forming a ventilating duct with a rigid material and providing an opened side part which has sufficient size to cover both of openings which are formed on a body to connect said duct to the inside of the car room and the cooler of a car respectively. CONSTITUTION:A ventilating duct 20 is formed with a material having rigidity, with its side part 21 being opened so as to have dimensions and configuration that can cover both of openings 4, 6 which are formed on a body 3 to connect the duct to the inside of a car room 2 and to a cooler 5 outside the car room respectively. The ventilating duct 20 is installed to the body 3 in such a way that the side part 21 of the duct 20 covers the openings 4, 6 of the body 3. And, packing 24 is installed between the peripheral part of the side part 21 and the body 3 to prevent air from leaking, while a screw 25 is fitted to a boss 22 provided on the upper part of the ventilating duct 20, through the body 3.
