      SOLUTION: The separative conveying mechanism 15 conveys paper sheets 23 stacked in the thickness direction and stored in storage parts 5, 7, sheet by sheet inside and outside the storage parts 5, 7 by the rotation of a pair of rollers 45, 47 arranged in the stacked direction of the paper sheets 23 and brought into pressure contact with each other. The pair of rollers 45, 47 is rotatable independently of each other by individual drive sources. The rotating direction of the pair of rollers 45, 47 can thereby be selected independently of each other, and the driving torque of the pair of rollers 45, 47 can be set independently of each other.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card stacker and a card issuing machine, comprising a weight for adding a load from above to cards in a card stacker having a number of cards stacked therein, the weight being provided so as not to be lost and to facilitate handling of the cards.

A slit rail 21 extending vertically and curved to the outward of the edge of the inlet 12 is formed in a part of the side plate 14, and the slit rail 21 includes the weight 2 for adding a load from above to a plurality of stacked cards 1 and an engagement member 3 connected with the weight 2 and slidably engaged with the slit rail 21.

When the first paper money 6 passes through the paper money path 14, the rays of light to be emitted from the light emitting module 3 are made to pass the paper money 6, and emitted or reflected on the light receiving module 2, and the obtained measurement numerics are compared with a preliminarily set reference value, and supposing that those two numerics approximate, a paper money discharging operation is executed, and when a difference between those numerics is large, the paper money 6 is collected to opposite directions. Thus, it is possible to surely prevent two paper moneys from being simultaneously ejected.
