    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detector of a coin receiving machine capable of attaining increase in identification rate of coins, reduction in setting space, and difficulty in breakage by providing a printed board having a spiral coil layout in a receiving device provided in the inside of a surface plate to detect the inductance of an inputted coin.
      SOLUTION: This detector for the coin receiving device comprises the receiving device provided in the inside of the surface plate. When the coin is inputted through a surface plate input port and slid through the coin channel of the receiving device, the printed board having the spiral coil of a sensor on the second side of a truck generates a magnetic field exerted on the passing coin to form an eddy current such that it is varied depending on counting of permeance on the coin surface. The inductance sensed by the printed board having the spiral coil layout is transmitted to a CPU, and compared with a set value in the CPU to determine the authenticity and amount of the inputted coin. By setting the printed board having the spiral coil layout, the setting space of hardware can be reduced while increasing the stability of coin amount determination, and the increase in recognition rate of coins, reduction in space, and difficulty in breakage can be attained.

Such a height detection mechanism having a simple structure with electrodes is easily installed due to the advantage of a simple structure provided for the electrodes, a quick reaction speed, and operability even under high temperature or dust and polluted environments. In the height detection mechanism, due to the advantage, detection of a metal coin height is simple and a coin can be manufactured at low cost.
