    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for identifying a photo identification.
      SOLUTION: A conveying passage is formed in a conveying device which conveys and puts a photo identification into an identification device installed in a vending machine. The identification device is divided into upper and lower bases through the conveying passage. The upper base has a second light-emitting diode module, and the second light-emitting diode module is installed correspondingly to a second sensor module of the lower base and identifies the authenticity of the photo identification. The identification device reads a birth date from the photo identification through a first light-emitting diode module and a linear sensor in a birth date identification module and determines the age of a photo identification holder. The identification device reads a photo of the photo identification holder through an image reading module installed on the upper base and records or compares identification information of the holder, and thereby the vending machine can vend age-restricted items only to customers with no age restriction.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller switch having power-saving function.
      SOLUTION: The roller switch has a switch 10, a roller 11, a light emission part 12, and a light receiving part 13. The roller 11 contacts to the switch 10. The handle 110 of the roller 11 has at least one hole 111. When a card is inserted, the card comes in contact to the frame 112 of the roller 11, and the switch 10 is pressed for energization. The roller 11 starts to rotate when the card is pressed. The light emission part 12 is placed in one side of the roller 11 to emit a light beam 15. The light receiving part 13 placed in the another edge of the roller 11 receives the light beam 15 through the hole 111 to transmit a pulsed signal 16. The movement of the card 14 has a corresponding relation with the pulsed signal 16.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for surely ejecting paper moneys one by one.
      SOLUTION: A light emitting module 3 and a light receiving module 2 are housed in a main body 1, and the light emitting module 3 and the light receiving module 2 are separately installed near paper money ejection ports 15 at the both sides of a paper money path 14. When the first paper money 6 passes through the paper money path 14, the rays of light to be emitted from the light emitting module 3 are made to pass the paper money 6, and emitted or reflected on the light receiving module 2, and the obtained measurement numerics are compared with a preliminarily set reference value, and supposing that those two numerics approximate, a paper money discharging operation is executed, and when a difference between those numerics is large, the paper money 6 is collected to opposite directions. Thus, it is possible to surely prevent two paper moneys from being simultaneously ejected.
