SOLUTION: The header weather strip for the open car has the sub-seal part 12 continuously mounted to the front header 1 and the front pillar 3 of the open car and resiliently contacted with a distal end of the roof panel; a hollow-like main seal part 11 positioned behind it; and the groove-like drain part 13 formed between the sub-seal part 12 and the main seal part 11, and seals a clearance between the front header 1 and the roof panel 2. At a portion opposed to the sub-seal part 12 of the main seal part 11, a projection part 14 for forming a water passage 15 communicated with the drain part 13 is provided between the main seal part 11 and the sub-seal part 12 at closing of the roof panel 2.
