    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jig for use in demolishing a steel tower, which is light in weight, easily transportable to the demolishing field, and simple in structure, and easy to handle. SOLUTION: The jig for use in demolishing the steel tower is mountable onto an upper portion of a steel tower structural member 14 of the existing steel tower 12, and formed of a lifting wire 32 with which a hook 44 hanging from a helicopter 40 engages, and a pair of fitting support members 22 which are mountable onto the upper portion of the steel tower structural member 14. The jig is further comprised of: lifting wire connecting fittings 24 which each include a connection portion 28a detachably formed on an upper edge of the fitting support member 22 and connected to the lifting wire 32, and an engaging portion 28b engaged with the fitting support member 22; and transport wires 34 each connected to the lifting wire connecting fitting 24, for lifting the steel tower structural member 14. Then the hook 44 of the helicopter 40 engages with the lifting wire 32 to lift up the same, and then the lifting wire connecting fittings 24 are disengaged from the respective fitting support members 22.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torsion beam type suspension having high durability capable of suppressing abrupt increase in the torsional rigidity of a torsion beam at an inner end of a gusset without reducing the strength of the torsion beam and mitigating the stress concentration.
      SOLUTION: The torsion-beam type suspension comprises a pair of right and left trailing arms 1, a torsion beam 2 to connect the trailing arms 1 to each other, and a gusset 3 having a U-shaped section in plan view and substantially triangular shape which is connected to an inner face of a connection part of the trailing arms 1 to the torsion beam 2. A seat face 9 which is offset e larger then the thickness t of the gusset 3 forward from a general outer face of a rear wall 2a is squeezed to right and left ends of the rear wall 2a of the torsion beam 2. In the gusset 3, an inner edge part 3d is allowed to overlap an intermediate part in the right-to-left direction of the seat face 9, and upper and lower front edge parts 3c, 3c are welded W3 to outer faces of the torsion beam 2 above and below the seat face 9.
