    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drastically reduce sludge powder by providing a cutout for hitting the sludge powder into a heat transfer drum by centrifugal force at one portion of an evaporation steam delivery port. SOLUTION: Raw sludge 6 that is supplied from a sludge throw port 1a into a heat transfer drum 1 is dispersed so that it is along the inner wall of a heat transfer drum 1 by a distribution ring 3 that is rotated along with a spindle 2. Further, the raw sludge 6 is extended in a thin-film shape while being pressed against the inner wall of the heat transfer pipe 1 by a blade 4. Then, the raw sludge 6 gradually falls due to dead weight and pressure. In that case, the raw sludge 6 is heated by heated steam that is supplied into a steam jacket 5 of the fresh air of the heat transfer drum 1, and the water is evaporated for drying to become dry sludge 8. On the other hand, water that is evaporated from the raw sludge 6 is unloaded from an evaporation steam exhaust port 9. At this time, the sludge powder hits against a cut-out of an end part in the rotary direction of the evaporation steam exhaust port 9, thus drastically reducing the exhaust of the sludge powder from the evaporation steam exhaust port 9 to the outside.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate a generator motor continuously at allowable vibration level by sustaining the rotational speed of generator motor as it is when the vibration deviates from an allowable level and then increasing (decreasing) the rotational speed abruptly to an allowable high (low) rotational speed upon elapsing a predetermined time. SOLUTION: A controller 9 receives the rotational speed of a generator motor from a rotational speed detector 10 and the detection signal from a vibration sensor 12 for detecting the vibration of floor 8 of a control board 11 amplified through a vibrometer 13. The controller 9 delivers a control signal to a cycloconverter 5 and a guide vane 14 and controls the rotational speed and exciting current of generator motor such that the vibration of floor 8 of control board 11 is settled within an allowable value. When the vibration deviates from a predetermined allowable value, rotational speed of generator motor at that moment of time is sustained as it is and then the rotational speed is increased (decreased) abruptly to an allowable high (low) rotational speed upon elapsing a predetermined time.

Clarified liquid 38 from which solid content has been removed overflows clarified liquid outlet holes 39 installed on an upper end plate 23 and is discharged from an outlet nozzle 33. Since at least four or more clarified liquid outlet holes 39 in the shape of a cylinder equally spaced on a circumference with a concentric diameter along the inside diameter side are made in the upper end plate 23, phenomenon of the clarified liquid 19 deflecting in one direction is prevented.

A drive motor 9 is arranged to the bearing housing 8 provided on the bearing stand 8a in a falling state.

    • PURPOSE:To prolong the life of a rolling bearing and to improve the reliability and safety of the bearing by energizing an electromagnet to energize the same in accordance with the signal from an earthquake detector only when the external force by earthquakes are received and energizing the magnetic fluid of a magnetic fluid damper, thereby damping the vibrations. CONSTITUTION:A separating container body 2 is provided pendently on a stand 1 having the earthquake detector 22 and a bearing housing 7 is provided on a plummer block 5 of the stand 1. A revolving shaft 9 is freely rotatably fitted in cantilever to this bearing housing 7 through the stand 1 into a separating container body 2. A separating container 11 is journaled to this revolving shaft 9 and a vibration damping spring 12 and the magnetic fluid damper 20 are interposed between the plummer block 5 and the bearing housing 7. The electromagnet 21 is connected to this magnetic fluid damper 20 directly or indirectly to the earthquake detector 22 and is so provided as to be energized at the time of the earthquakes. Consequently, the electromagnet 21 is energized and excited in accordance with the signal from the earthquake detector 22, by which the magnetic fluid of the magnetic fluid damper 20 is energized and the vibration is damped.
