Then, vibrations of respective EL elements interfere with each other, and a noise is prevented. Since only a single open drain type switching element is connected to scanning electrodes 201, 201,..., downsizing becomes possible.

摘要： PURPOSE:To edit a recorded or chestral accompaniment recorded tape with text easily by use of a cassette tape on the market by recording text phrase on a track parallel to a track where accompaniment is recorded. CONSTITUTION:The timing of the recording of stored text on the tape 10 is determined by running the tape 10 for the reproduction of recorded orchestral accompaniment play, and pressing a ''timing'' key where a text phrase is displayed. Time intervals T0, T1, T0-(T0: interval from reference signal 102a) of the depression of the ''timing'' key are measured by CTC4. Then the tape 10 is run again and time data T0 is read out when the reference signal 102a appears to set (T0-deltaT) in the CTC4 as a count initial value. After that, when the circuit 4 receives a breakage detection signal from the breakage detection circuit 3, it electrically shuts off a section between the broken rearmost thin-film EL element 12 and the drive circuit 2 and electrically makes continuity between the forefront thin-film EL element 14 and the drive circuit 2.

Therefore, the vibration of whole EL display device is reduced, and noise can be fairly prevented.

CONSTITUTION:When a key switch 16 is changed over to a starter terminal 15 at the time of starting an engine, the exciting coil 11 of a series change-over switch 4 is energized so that 2 batteries 2 and 3 are jointed in series. In this case, the exciting coil 24 of a warning relay switch 23 is also energized so that a lamp 22 is lit. A magnet switch 20 is then turned on with the exciting coil 18 of a feeding relay switch 17 excited, and a starter 6 is then energized so that the engine is thereby started. When the key switch 16 is later turned back onto an 'ON' terminal 14, electricity to the respective exciting coils 18 and 11 is interrupted, and the batteries 2 and 3 are joined in parallel so that they are ready for being charged by a charging device.

When the coil 21 is not excited, both batteries 1A and 1B are connected parallel by the normally closed contacts 22a and 22b. Electrifying of the switching relay 2 is controlled by a timer circuit 5. When a key switch 4 is turned on, since the coil 21 is excited, both batteries 1A and 1B are connected in series, and, after a prescribed time, the magnet switch 32 is turned on.

A plurality of ventilating holes 12 are formed in a yoke 9. An exciting coil 7 is designed to be cooled by outside air passing through the holes 12.
