    • PURPOSE:To perform a high luminance display without using buffer memories. CONSTITUTION:A thin film EL panel (EL element) 1 is made to be a dual insulation construction and has a memory effect due to a polarization effect. A driving circuit consists of an upper screen scanning electrode driving circuit 2, a lower screen scanning electrode driving circuit 3, an upper screen data electrode driving circuit 4 and a lower screen data electrode driving circuit 5. The upper screen scanning electrode driving circuit 2 and the lower screen scanning electrode driving circuit 3 impress sequentially a writing voltage (-Vth) from the highest scanning electrode 71 on an upper screen 1a to the lowest scanning electrode 7n on a lower screen 1b and also impress a refresh voltage (+VR) to scanning electrodes 7n/2+1 to 7n on the lower screen 1b during the period when the write voltage (-Vth) is impressed on scanning electrode 71 to 7n/2 on the upper screen 1a, conversely to this, impress the refresh voltage (+VR) to scanning electrodes 71 to 7n/2 on the upper screen 1a during the period when the write voltage (-Vth) is impressed on scanning electrodes 7n/2+1 to 7n on the lower screen 1b.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent improper insulation of both ends of a laminated core in an inexpensive structure. CONSTITUTION:Before a core 4 is manufactured by lamination, the inner surface of a core end plate 9 arranged on edges 13, 14 of the core 1 in which a plurality of core plates 8 are laminated and end faces 11a, 11b of a tooth 11 are covered with first insulating films 6. After the core 4 is fabricated by lamination, the inner surface of a slot 10 of the entire core 4 and end faces 11a, 11b of the tooth 11 are covered with second insulating films 7. Thus, an insulating layer of the plate 9 becomes about twice as thick as that of the insulating layer of the other core plate 8 to prevent damage of the edges 13, 14 of the core 4 at the time of inserting a coil. The plate 9 is formed of the same magnetic material as that of the plate 8. Thus, the same punching die as that of the plate 8 can be used to obtain the inexpensive core end plate 9.

    • PURPOSE:To easily change rated voltage without changing a shape in each part of an armature by providing an idle slot, where no coil is fitted, and paired short-circuited segments, which short-circuit two commutator segments, in an equal quantity. CONSTITUTION:An armature 1 is constituted of slots 110 to 124 of an almost cylindrical iron core 5 fitted to a rotary shaft 3, coils 7a to 7j, commutator 9, etc. The coils 7a to 7j are fitted to the ten slots 110 to 119 of the total 15 slots 110 to 124, and no coil is fitted to the rest of the slots to provide the idle slots 120 to 124. The commutator 9 has 15 commutator segments, and the commutator segment numbers 10 by electrically connecting the fellow segments in every third place. When, the number of the coils is decreased, the rated voltage is decreased, but a current conduction amount is increased by the decrease of the number of the coils to increase torque. An output characteristic is not changed because a rotational speed is not changed.

    • PURPOSE:To easily add an automatic discriminating function for discriminating a tape for appreciation from a 'KARAOKE' (recorded instrumental accompaniment) tape and a lyric displaying function to the titled device by receiving a lyric display signal outputted from a detecting means and displaying lyrics. CONSTITUTION:When a magnetic tape R is a 'KARAOKE' tape, the detecting means M2 connected to a speaker connecting terminal T0 of a reproducing means M1 detects that a speaker output signal outputted from an output terminal T0 is a lyric signal and then outputs the 1st detecting signal. The detecting means M2 detects the operating state of the reproducing device M1 and generates the 2nd detecting signal. Receiving the 1st detecting signal, a display means M3 displays lyrics reproduced by the reproducing means M1 on the screen of a display device, and at the reception of the 2nd detecting signal, erases the display of the lyrics from the screen. A switching means M4 can switch performance reproduced by the reproducing means M1 to stereo reproducing or monaural reproducing, and at the input of the 1st detecting signal, switches the stereo reproducing to the monaural reproducing. An amplifying means M5 amplifies an arithmetic signal and outputs the amplified signal to a speaker S.
