摘要： PURPOSE:To enable a higher detection accuracy free from any change in temperature by measuring an inductance of a coil varying with a position of a piston rod sliding within the coil provided coaxially on a cylinder. CONSTITUTION:As a piston rod moves according to the sliding of a piston within a cylinder, magnetic permeability changes at a part moving in the coil 1 of the piston rod. Then, when a driving means 2 AC drives a series circuit 6, an inductance detection means 3 detects an inductance of the coil 1 according to a change in the permeability and a time constant deciding means 7 determines a time constant of the circuit 6 based on transient electric phenomenon generated in a resistance 5. A changing errors detection means 8 detects changing errors due to temperature of an internal resistance of the coil 1 and the resistance 5 according to DC and transient electric phenomenon generated in the resistance 5 when the means 2 DC drives the circuit 6. Moreover, a position deciding means 4 determines a position of the piston allowed for the time constant and the changing errors.

摘要： PURPOSE:To make it possible to enhance the safe drive of a vehicle by stopping the operation of a stabilizer device when the vehicle runs in a turning limit range so as to allow the driver to recognize that the vehicle is liable to roll so as to fall in the turning limit range. CONSTITUTION:A stabilizer device M6 operates an actuator so as to restrain the roll of a vehicle during turning. In this case the steering angle by a steering wheel and the yaw rate of the vehicle are detected by detecting means M1, M2, respectively. Further, a computing means M3 computes the turning limit value n accordance with thus detected steering angle and yaw rate, and a judging means M3 judges the limit of the turning of the vehicle when the limit value exceeds a set value. Further, a control means M5 stops the roll restraining operation of the stabilizer device M6 in accordance with thus judged limit. With this arrangement, it is possible to allow the driver to recognize that the vehicle body is liable to roll in the turning limit range of the vehicle end that the vehicle falls in the turning limit range.
