    • PURPOSE:To substantially shorten a error correcting time in case an uncorrectable sector is reproduced by a 1st error correction code, by reproducing a recorded record/reproduction sector without using a 2nd error correction code to obtain the binary information. CONSTITUTION:A 1st error correction code 21 is produced and added to the binary information 20 and this information 20 is recorded previously into a reproduction-only sector area 11A of an optical information recording disk 10. At the same time, a 2nd error correction code is produced by applying an exclusive OR among same data symbols of each sector as Q0, Q1 and so on. Then the 2nd error correction code is recorded into a reproduction-only sector area 11B. The 1st error correction code is added to the binary information and recorded together with the sector number having an error in a record/ reproduction sector area 12 of the same track. Hereafter the information already corrected by the 2nd error correction code, if recorded, is reproduced in case an access is given to an uncorrectable sector via the 1st error correction code. Thus it is possible to extremely reduce the error correcting time including the access time.

    • PURPOSE:To attain the low cost for the titled device by sharing a laser beam source, a signal detection section and a system control section in common to the plural sets of optical discs, optical heads and carrying bases. CONSTITUTION:The optical disc 1 is driven by a rotary shaft 2 and a rotary driver 3 to the required number of revolutions, a laser beam is irradiated to the disc 1 through the optical head 4 to record and reproduce the information. The laser beam is irradiated from the laser beam source and a signal detection section 20 to the optical head 4, reaches the signal recording face of the disc 1 via a reflecting mirror 7, the carrying base 5 and the optical head 4 through an optical path (a), the reflected light from the face goes reversely and returns to the signal detection section 20, to obtain various control signals and information signals. The information is recorded and reproduced to the disc 11 similarly. The entire system is controlled by a system control section 21 and reflection mirror drivers 8, 18 apply position control to reflection mirrors 7, 17 to attain recording and reproduction of free information to the discs 1, 11.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate a split resonance between a bobbin and a lens barrel by winding each coil to each other so that a part of the inside diameter part of the winding contacts to the side face being parallel to an optical axis of the lens barrel, and also the winding of the side opposed to this contact part forms a surface parallel to the optical axis, and omitting the bobbin. CONSTITUTION:An objective lens 11 is stuck and held to a lens barrel 12. Coils 13a, 13b are wound to the lens barrel 12 by once, and thereafter, drawn out to one side by a semicircle as the coil 13a, and also wound to the lens barrel 12 by once, and thereafter, drawn out by a semicircle to the opposite side to the coil 13a as the coil 13b. Also, after they have been drawn out, respectively, they are formed and hardened so that the drawn-out part becomes a surface vertical to an optical axis of the lens barrel, the tip of the drawn-out part is bent downward and placed between magnets 14, and a driving force is obtained by a current flowing to the coils 13a, 13b. The lens barrel 12 is floated and held by an elastic supporting body 15, and driven upward and downward by the coils 13a, 13b. In this way, a bobbin is omitted and the coils 13a, 13b are wound directly to the lens barrel 12, therefore, a split resonance between the bobbin and the lens barrel 12 is eliminated.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent duplicated write to an address signal without requiring assistance of a recording/reproduction switching controller by using a binary state holding device so as to output a recoding/reproduction switching signal from the recording/reproduction switching controller to a laser drive circuit and a pickup drive circuit with an address read end signal from an address demodulation circuit. CONSTITUTION:The recording/reproduction switching controller 1 in the reproducing state confirms an address demodulated by an address demodulation circuit 2 and brings a recording/reproduction switching signal (a) into the recording state when a preceding address to an address desired to be recorded comes. The signal (a) is not directly to a laser drive circuit and a pickup drive circuit 3 but awaited until an address read end signal (b) is outputted from the address demodulation circuit 2. When the signal (b) comes, a flip-flop output recoding/ reproduction control signal (d) switches the laser drive circuit and pickup drive circuit 3 into the recording state just after the address without time delay based on the signal (al). The moment a flip-flop 4 receives a reset signal (e) an output (d) is brought into the reproducing state.
