摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always enable alignment between the axis of a piston and the axis of a barrel by interposing a steel ball between the piston and a load detector while a linear guide is provided at the lower part of the steel ball. SOLUTION: A steel ball 4 is interposed between a piston 2 provided at the lower part of a detecting section 1 and a load detector 3 provided at the upper part thereof while a linear guide 5 is provided at the lower end of the steel ball 4 to support and guide the piston 2 so that it vertically moves. The linear guide 5 is provided with a horizontal plate 8 paralleling a cross head 12 at the lower ends of right and left struts 9 at a right angle to the cross head 12 provided at the lower end of a drive part and supported on a linear guide holder 6 fixed 7 at the central part of the horizontal plate 8 so as to cross at a right angle the central part thereof 8. This always enables axial alignment between the piston 2 and a barrel even when the piston 2 moves vertically with the action of the load detector 3.

By detecting the pressure PA at the inlet of the capillary tubes, the pressure PB at the outlet of the capillary tubes, and the flow quantity Q, the viscosity eta is calculated by the Hagen-Poiseulle's formula or eta=pir .(PA-PB)/delta.l.qwhere r = the radius of the capillary tube 2, l = the length of the capillary tube 2, and q = the flow rate passing through the capillary tube 2. The process main flow passage in which the greater part of the fluid to be measured flows is such that as the sampling tube of a reaction vessel, or a part of a reaction vessel, and is situated in the vicinity of the outlet of a mixer or extruder, and the viscosity of polymer or the like is measured in this portion for performing quality control.

摘要： PURPOSE:To easily measure the viscosity of a liquid such as blood. CONSTITUTION:A pressure-reduced closed tube-like vessel 12 is used. When an end of a slender tube 23 the other end of which is submerged in a liquid 52 such as blood is introduced into the tube-like vessel, the liquid is introduced to the tube-like vessel through the slender tube due to the pressure difference between both the ends thereof. Internal pressure of the tube-like vessel is measured by the use of a pressure sensor 40 with the lapse of time. A liquid viscosity is calculated by the use of a computer on the basis of changes of the internal pressure of the tube-like vessel and the rate of liquid flow in the slender tube.
