    • PURPOSE:To connect driving double steel pipes to each other in the ground and to prevent internal pipes from cracking to promote execution efficiency having high reliability by providing a cushion material layer between an intermediate material of the peripheral surface of an internal pipe and an external pipe, and mutually coming into contact with external pipes. CONSTITUTION:A projected driving double steel pipe 1' is provided to a vertical shaft, a new double steel pipe 1 is provided to the rear end thereof, and the ends of internal pipes 2 are welded to each other. After that, a welding section is coated with a polyethylene tube, grout hoses inserted into lead-covered pipes buried in concretes 4 are connected to each other. At that time, a cushion material layer of polystyrene resin 8 is provided between an intermediate material covering the peripheral surface of each of the internal pipes 2 and each of the external pipes 3. Then, the external pipes are slid, and position slippage or size error is absorbed by the cushion material to contact the external pipes accurately with each other. Successively, the steel pipes 1' and 1 are driven forward in the ground, cement milk is filled between the internal pipes 2 and the external pipes 3. According to this constitution, the cement milk is discharged to the outside of the external pipe 3 together with water and earth to strengthen buried pipes, and the settlement of the ground surface can be prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To enable the X-ray examination of the welded parts of a main pipe that has been welded inside a starting shaft to be easily carried out from the outside by providing a space between the adjacent outer pipes in the piping material of a small-diameter double structure. CONSTITUTION:A filling material layer 21 is formed on the outside of main pipes 20 whose both ends have been beveled, and a water-feeding pipe 22 and a mud-water pipe 23 are penetrated through the filling material layer 21. On the outside of the filling material layer 21, outer pipes 24 whose length between both ends is shorter than the main pipe 20 and that is formed so as to be concentric with the main pipe 20 are provided for constituting a piping material of a small-diameter double structure. After the main pipes 20 have been welded to each other in the inside of a starting shaft and subjected to the X-ray examination from the space formed between adjacent outer pipes 24, the water-feeding pipes 22 and mud-water pipes 23 are connected by means of connecting pipes 16 respectively. A sliding working layer may be interposed between the filling material layer 21 and the outer pipe 24.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To pull in a steel pipe over a long distance which is conventionally impossible by a propelling machine alone by effectively utilizing a road setting type propelling machine. SOLUTION: A starting bored hole 1 is provided in one side of a pipe laying path, a destination bored hole 2 is provided in the other side, a road setting type propelling machine 3 having a guide drill unit 31 is installed on the round of the starting bored hole side 1 and a returning device 5 having a propelling jack is installed in the destination bored hole 2. In first step, a drill head is attached to the tip of a rotary rod 4 delivered from the road setting type propelling machine 3, advanced into the ground while rotating the drill head and boring hole is drilled up to the destination bored hole. In second step, the drill head is removed in the destination bored hole 2, instead by serially connecting an expanded hole rimer 6 coincided with a buried pipe diameter and a steel pipe 7 to be pulled in to the end part of the rod 4, the rod 4 is returned by a pulling-in force from the front by the propelling machine 3, and by simultaneously adding a pushing-in force from the rear side by the returning device 5 to the rear end part of the steel pipe 7 to be pulled in, the steel pipe is pulled in.
