    • PURPOSE: To eject billets having different temps. at the target temp. for the same time of residence in a furnace by comparing the required heating quantity to the billets and preliminarily determined threshold heating quantity, determining the deficient quantity of heat thereof and the required quantity of accumulated heat and supplying such quantity of heat to the billets at the same instant when the billets are charged into the furnace.
      CONSTITUTION: The charging temp. of the billet is predicated and calculated by an arithmetic unit 100 for the billet temp. An optimum furnace temp. is calculated by an arithmetic unit 101 for the optimum furnace temp. and the required heating quantity of the billet is determined by an arithmetic unit 99 for the required heating quantity. The threshold quantity of heat for heating the billet is determined by an arithmetic unit 3 for the threshold quantity of heat for heating. The threshold heating quantity is subtracted from the required heating quantity by a relational arithmetic unit 4 and when the value thereof is positive, a change-over switch 8 is held at contact (a) side to operate a feedback control device 102 for the furnace temp. When the value is negative, the required quantity of accumulated heat is determined by an arithmetic unit 6 for the quantity of the accumulated heat and the set furnace temp. is determined by an arithmetic unit 7 for the furnace temp. The time for starting the heat accumulation is determined. The switch 8 is set at the contact (b) side at said time and the furnace temp. is controlled to the set furnace temp. The switch 8 is changed over to the (a) side when the billet is charged to the furnace.

    • PURPOSE:To properly determine the temp. information or the quality of dry distillation coke, by separately providing a chute, which has a sample outtake port radially enlarged to an extrusion member and a door, and a sample receiver to the side wall of a coke gauge. CONSTITUTION:When a coke sample is collected, the extrusion work of dry distilled coke is temporarily interrupted and a door 15 is fallen and revolved by a cylinder system 14 to open and close outtake ports 5b, 6b, 7b while chutes 8, 9, 10 are formed and cylinder rods 4 are operated from the outsides of extrusion ports 5a, 6a, 7a to extrude coke samples. Each extrusion port is enlarged radially to each rod 4.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the adhesiveness of a rolling lubricant to rolls and to reduce rolling load and rolling torque by providing gas injection nozzles and removing thoroughly the residual moisture sticking to the roll surface after dewatering. CONSTITUTION:An oil rolling device is provided with an contact type wiper 3 which removes the cooling water on the rolling surface 5 of the rolling oil 1 on the side of the roll 1, the gas injection nozzles 8, 9 and rolling lubricant injection nozzles 10, 11 which inject the rolling lubricant to the surface 5. The wiper 3 is brought into contact with the surface 5 to remove the water. Gas is then injected from the nozzles 8, 9 to the surface 5 to remove the residual moisture. The rolling lubricant is stuck to the surface 5 and a stock 2 to be rolled is rolled by said surface.
