摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a method in which powdering can be prevented and aging can be accelerated in piling a slag produced in steelmaking or the slag pretreated with molten iron in heaps outdoors and aging the slag. CONSTITUTION:A slag produced in steelmaking before aging or the slag pretreated with molten iron or both are blended with coal ash in an amount of 1-30wt.% based on the total weight after blending and a carbon-containing industrial waste in an amount of 0.5-20wt.% based on the total weight after the blending and the resultant blend is aged. Artificial water sprinkling in the aging is more effective. Thereby, prevention of powdering and acceleration of aging can be achieved at a low cost while suppressing the production of large coarse granules. As a result, this method is advantageous to conversion of the slag into resources.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve heat efficiency the total system by directly charging high temp. char prepared by extracting volatile matter from coal, in coal rapid rapid heat decomposition process, into a smelting reduction furnace and supplying high temp. gas generated in the smelting reduction furnace into the coal rapid heat decomposition process. CONSTITUTION:The coal discharged from a coal feeder is fed to a coal heat decomposition reaction furnace 3 to make gas, tar and char, and after recovering sensible heat of product with a heat recovery vessel 4, the char in the product is stored in char hoppers 5. The char having about 300-400 deg.C in the char hopper 5 is conveyed with gas stream at about 40 solid-gas ratio into the smelting reduction furnace 9 through piping 12 to raise the heat efficiency in the reduction furnace 9. On the other hand, the gas generated in the smelting reduction furnace 9 is burnt in a circulating gas heating furnace 7 after cooling and collecting dust through a venturi scrubber 13, and the high temp. gas is circulated into the coal heat decomposition reaction furnace 3 and utilized. By this method, the smelting reduction furnace 9 having high heat efficiency can be operated.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent a decomposition of hydrocarbon and generation of soot caused by the decomposition of hydrocarbon by a method wherein a heat accumulation chamber is divided into at least a low temperature side thermal accumulation zone and a high temperature side heat accumulation zone, and at least one mixed cold gas blowing part is disposed at an intermediate part of each of the zones. CONSTITUTION:A checker is divided into two sections for a low temperature heat accumulation chamber 1b and a high temperature heat accumulation chamber 1b. At the high temperature side is generated a decomposition of hydrocarbon. Its temperature is more than 600 deg.C, a spacing is formed at an intermediate part of both chambers, a mixing cold pipe is connected to the intermediate part to form a mixing cold part, thereby a discharging temperature of the high temperature side heat accumulation chamber 1b is prevented from being heated more than an approximate air blowing target temperature in order to adjust the mixing cold amount. In operation, a part near the upper-most part of bricks of the checker shows the highest temperature. A subsequent duct 16 shows a decreased temperature due to a presence of dispersion heat. Actually, adhesion of carbon(soot) is easily produced at the subsequent duct 16 rather than a hole in the bricks of the checker. It is possible to restrict generation of soot and its adhesion at the air blowing duct by making a heat exchanger having such a structure as described above.
