    • PURPOSE:To obtain the titled material capable of faithfully reproducing the hue of an object by specifying a wavelength which gives the max. high sensitivity in a spectral sensitivity of the emulsion layer having the min. low sensitivity of the green sensitive emulsion layer to 520-570mum, and a wavelength which gives the max. high sensitivity in spectral sensitivity of the emulsion layer having the most high sensitivity to 530-590mum, and by making the means sensitive wavelength in the spectral sensitivity distribution of the emulsion layer having the most low sensitivity to that shorter than the prescribed mean sensitive wavelength of the emulsion layer having the most high sensitivity by 3-20mum. CONSTITUTION:The wavelength which gives the most high sensitivity in the spectral sensitivity of the emulsion layer having the most low sensitivity of the green colored sensitive emulsion layer is specified to 520-570mum. The wavelength which gives the most high sensitivity in the spectral sensitivity of the emulsion layer having the most high sensitivity is specified to 530-590mum. The means sensitive wavelength in the spectral sensitive distribution of the emulsion layer having the most low sensitivity makes shorter than that of the emulsion layer having the most high sensitivity by 3-20mum. Thus, the color component undesirable to mixing therein in the color reproducibility reduces. As a result, the color reproducibility of the hues in a highlight range as well as an intermediate optical density range makes possible.

    • PURPOSE: To remarkably enhance photographic sensitivity, such as intrinsic sensitively and spectral sensitivity, by adding a photographic spectral sensitizer after finishing at least a greater part of growth of silver halide grains and before a desalting step.
      CONSTITUTION: The optimum time for adding the spectral sensitizing dye can be selected in accordance with the prescription of the silver halide emulsion to be used, such as halide compsn. and grain size, and the kind of such dyes to be used, and the like, and it is preferable to add it after addition of 90wt%, especially, 95wt% of a soln. of soluble silver salt, or it may be added after the end of addition of the silver salt soln. and before the desalting step, such as the time of physical ripening. These addition time corresponds mainly to the final stage of growth of the grains and the stage of the physical ripening. It is preferable not to add the soln. of the soluble silver salt over again after the end of addition of the dye.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of the color balance of a color reversal photosensitive material during preservation by incorporating surface-fogged silver halide particles into the intermediate layer between the red- and green-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers of the photosensitive material. CONSTITUTION:A color reversal photosensitive material having at least two water soluble groups such as COOH or SO3H groups in at least one of the red- and green-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers is prepd., and surface-fogged silver halide particles are incorporated into the intermediate layer between the emulsion layers. The fogging is carried out by adding a reducing agent or by uniformly exposing an emulsion. Fine particles of about 0.01-0.5mum particle size are preferably used as the particles. The preferred amount of silver coated is about 5-500mg/m . The deterioration of the color balance due to the transfer of a sensitizing dye to other layer can be prevented during preservation.
