The output of the lens vibration suppression circuit 7B is supplied to a tracking driving circuit 5 which controls a tracking actuator 3 for a prescribed time just before and immediately after the transfer from the seek to the tracking control is performed.

    • PURPOSE:To minimize overshooting at the time of settling and to shorten the settling time by starting the operation of a filter with the data of the condition of the internal part of a filter in a storing means as the initial value of the filter after switching is executed to a position control means. CONSTITUTION:A switch SW in a digital signal processor DSP is made into an ON condition immediately switching is executed from a seek mode to a position control action mode and the reference speed is corrected only for the speed of a track runout. By outputting a feed forward signal from a ram table in a fine time from immediately after an action mode is switched to a position control mode, the overshooting at the time of settling is minimized without receiving the influence of the track runout. Further, after the fine time, the calculation of a band amplifying filter BAF is started with the data in the ram table as the initial value of the band amplifying filter BAF. Thus, the time until the stationary condition of the band amplifying filter BAF, namely, the stationary condition of a position control is obtained is shortened.

    • PURPOSE:To make data tracks high density without using a complex circuit by detecting a servo pattern recorded on a magnetic disk by a means other than a magnetic recording means and executing accurate tracking servo. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic disk 1 has the servo pattern (SP) for tracking servo concentrically or spirally formed by a means other than a magnetic recording means and two collating burst signals V1, V2 magnetically recorded in an area other than a data area A0 so as to be shifted from each other in the diameter direction on the basis of the SP. A magnetic head 4 for recording/ reproducing a data signal is provided with a sensor 2 for detecting the SP at a position separated by a prescribed distance, and when the SP is out from the detecting range, on-track is immediately executed by a tracking control circuit 4 for comparing the levels of the signals V1, V2 and detecting and collating the quantity of off-track, a head actuator driving circuit 11 and a head actuator 8. Thereby, the interval between tracks can be shortened and high density can be attained.

    • PURPOSE:To perform the control of revolution of a spindle motor with extremely high accuracy by giving linear drive continuously or intermittently to the information recording/reproduction signals in the radius direction of a disk at a prescribed position in response to the number of tracks between a track at the present position and a track at the target position of an information recording/reproduction element. CONSTITUTION:An access motor driver contains a speed control means 20 which skips at a high speed a magnetic head device 11 serving as an information recording/ reproduction element up to a track at the target position from a track at the present position, a position control means 21 which secures the accurate coincidence between the center position of the device 11 set on the track at the target position by the means 20 and the center position the track at the target position, and a revolution control means 19 which receives supply of the speed and position control signals S1 and S2 delivered from the means 20 and 21 respectively and drives with control a rotary shaft 13 of a spindle motor 12 in a prescribed direction and at a prescribed speed. Thus the shaft 13 can be revolved accurately and at a high speed for each minute angle. This attains a revolving speed controller for spindle motor which is effectively applied to a motor driver, etc.
