    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weatherstrip capable of suppressing deterioration of quality of appearance and a seal performance by decreasing a step in a connecting part between an extrusion-molded part and a mold-molded part.
      SOLUTION: A thickness thieving part 36 within a specified range containing an end face is removed at a part of a seal part of the extrusion-molded part 12. A thin thickness part 37 with a tapered face on the inner face side of the seal part and with a thin thickness is formed thereby. Then, the end part of the seal part of the extrusion-molded part 12 is fitted into a core of a mold apparatus 38, and the mold apparatus 38 is clamped. A cavity 41 formed by this clamping extends continuously from the end face of the extrusion-molded part 12, and is also formed in a region corresponding to the thickness thieving part 36. Therefore, the thin thickness part 37 is hardly compressed and held. In addition, mold-molded parts 13 and 14 are molded by filling a material under a plasticized condition into the cavity 41 and solidifying it.
