    • PURPOSE:To remove noise the level difference between the noise and signals is present thereon and to make high-speed response when the level difference is present thereon by inverting the output of a storage circuit by using the outputs of 1st or 3rd and 2nd or 4th logic circuits. CONSTITUTION:When the level of a light receiving pulse is low, each cell output of a shift register 4 is fluctuated between logic '1' and logic '0' and the 3rd logic circuit 16 does not detect that the first half cell output is logic '1' and the second half cell output is logic '0'. When each cell output of the register 4 is set to logic '1' by the light receiving pulse, the output of a storage circuit 9 is inverted by the output of the 1st logic circuit 5. When the level of the light receiving pulse is high, on the other hand, logic '1' is successively inputted after the light receiving pulse is once inputted to the register 4. Then the 3rd logic circuit 16 detects that the first half cell output becomes logic '1' and the second half cell output become logic '0' and the output of the storage circuit 9 is inverted by the output of the circuit 16.

    • PURPOSE:To attain the measurement of distance with the even balance secured between the safety and the power saving property by inferring the electromagnetic wave output based on the speed of its own car, the distance between its own car and its preceding car, and the difference of speed between both cars and controlling the electromagnetic wave output. CONSTITUTION:An electromagnetic wave irradiation means 3 is used to irradiate a preceding car with an electromagnetic wave together with an electromagnetic wave reception means 5 which receives the electromagnetic wave reflected from the preceding car, a distance calculation means 6 which calculates the distance between the preceding car and its own car based on the received signal, a speed difference calculation means 10 which calculates the difference of speed between both cars based on the distance calculated by the means 6, a speed detection means 7 which detects the speed of its own car, an electromagnetic wave output inference means 12 which infers the electromagnetic wave output based on the speed of its own car, the distance between both cars, and the difference of speed between both card, and an electromagnetic wave output control means 4 which controls the means 3 based on the inference result. Thus it is possible to control the electromagnetic wave output least necessary for various conditions and to secure the even balance among the distance measuring accuracy, the safety, and the power saving property.

All values omega.h and (h) expressing the center positions outputted from respective inference parts 3 are added and added values are inputted to a defuzzy fire part 5 respectively as SIGMAomega.h and SIGMAh. The defuzzy part 5 divides the inputted SIGMAomega.h by SIGMAh to find out and output a determined value output H. Thus, the constitution can be simplified.

    • PURPOSE:To attain the inference of two systems or more by the same inference value by providing the pairs of membership function circuits (MFCs) and membership function generating circuits (MFGs) corresponding to the number of systems, selecting one pair out of respective pairs one by one in accordance with the selection of a system and applying the selected pair of MFC and MFG to an arithmetic circuit. CONSTITUTION:In each inference part 90, respective pairs of MFCs, i.e. MFCs 101A and 101B, 102A and 102B and 103A and 103B, are provided with respective variable selecting circuits 91 to 93. In addition, each inference part 90 is provided with a pair of MFGs 105A, 105B and a variable selecting circuit 95 for selecting either one of the MFGs in accordance with a variable selecting signal. Any one of MFCs is selected in accordance with a variable selection input and either one of MFGs is selected in accordance with the variable selection input to compute the outputs of the selected MFC and MFG. Consequently, a fuzzy inference device capable of sharing for two or more inference systems, as well can be obtained.
