    • PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of an output signal by applying a discrete processing to the reception intensity of an input pulse with plural comparators whose threshold levels differ from each other and outputting the processed signal to a digital filter having a noise elimination capability in response to a threshold level. CONSTITUTION:Five comparators 1, 2...5 whose threshold levels differ from each other are provided and a received pulse signal is amplified by an amplifier 6, the amplified signal is fed to the comparators as their input signal and the reception intensity of the input pulse is subjected to the discrete processing. Then a shift register 23 and an AND gate 33b (digital filter) having a strongest noise eliminating capability are activated at the input level very critical to the operating level and conversely, a shift register 25 and an AND gate 35 discriminating the level at a fastest speed are activated with the input of a level completely exceeding the operating level. Thus, noise is eliminated sufficiently and the reliability of the output signal is improved.

    • PURPOSE:To place an operation display light and a stable operation display light to a photoelectric detection section without increasing number of signal lines by superimposing a signal for driving the operation display light and the stable operation display onto a signal on a signal path for driving a light emitting element and separating the signal with the polarity of the signal and its level. CONSTITUTION:An operation display LED 23 and a stable operation display LED 24 of opposite polarity connects in parallel with a light emitting element 13 in a photoelectric detection section and a Zener diode 314 connects in series to the LED 24. Through the constitution above, since the polarity of a light emitting element drive signal is opposite to the signal of the display LEDs 23, 24, they are not lighted. When the display driving signal reaches a level, only the LED 23 is lighted and the level of the display drive signal is further increased and exceeds the Zener voltage of the Zener diode 314, then both the LEDs 23, 24 are lighted. Since the signal is separated depending on the polarity and the level, the placing of the operation display light and the stable operation display light to the photoelectric detection section is attained without increasing the signal line number.

    • PURPOSE:To facilitate operation by allowing a signal to by-pass one of registers of intermediate stages of a frequency dividing circuit except its initial stage and final stage and selecting a by-pass mode and a normal mode wherein no signal by-passes the resistor. CONSTITUTION:A by-pass circuit 4 which extends from the output side of the flip-flop 1a of the initial stage to the input side of the flip-flop 1f of a 6th stage and a switching circuit 5 which selects whether or not the by-pass circuit 4 is put in operation are provided. Then when an external input K is at L level, a node S is at the L level and nodes T, X, and H are at H level. Consequently, the by-pass circuit 4 is cut off and a circuit shown in a figure has the same circuit constitution as usual. When the external input K is at the L level, the node S is at the H level and the nodes T, X, and Y are at the L level. Consequently, the by-pass circuit 4 conducts to constitute a shift register, flip-flops 1b, 1c, 1d, and 1e are made ineffective, and the circuit shown in the figure is a shift register circuit constituted by connecting four stages of flip-flop circuits.

CONSTITUTION: Between radio communication equipments 41 and 42, not only transmisiion and reception data SD and RD but also control signals or a transmission request RS, a transmission possible CS, a terminal ready ER and a data set ready DR are transmitted with each other. When the SD exists in the personal computer 1 an a transmission side, the RS is started and the equipment 41 transmits the RS to the equipment 42. In the equipment 42, a reception signal is analyzed, the control signals are discriminated, the CS is made an H level and the CS is transmitted to the personal computer 2 on the reception side. When the computer 2 gets ready for a reception, the computer starts the RS. This signal is received as the CS by the equipment 41 via the equipment 42. As a result, when the equipment 41 gets ready for a data reception, the equipment 41 starts the CS and transmits the CS as transmission possible to a computer 1.

    • PURPOSE:To properly compensate the change in the detection quantity of light caused by the temp. characteristics of a light emitting element or the surface contamination of a lens, in a method for correcting the detection quantity of light of a photoelectric sensor, by determining the correction value of the detection quantity of light with due regard to a change in the distribution of measured values in addition to the mean value of the measured values of the detection quantity of light. CONSTITUTION:When the detection quantity of light of a photodetector is lowered by the surface contamination of the light lenses of a light emitting element 3 and a photodetector 5 in order to correct a change in the detection quantity of light of the photodetector 5, the gain of a variable gain amplifier 11 is made large. That is, the main value of the measured values of the detection quantity of light and the distribution range of said values become input and one of outputs after data processing becomes the gain for the amplification of the signal. When the distribution range of the measured values becomes larger than initial data or the previous one, the measuring number of times of the calculation of the mean value and the distribution range is increased in order to enhance the reliability as data and to prevent the generation of an oscillating phenomenon. Contrarily, when the distribution range of the measured values becomes smaller than the previous one, the measuring number of times of the calculation of the mean value and the distribution range is reduced.
