    • PURPOSE: To enhance the productivity of a formed product by reducing production cost and maintenance cost by enabling the press forming of a polymeric material by pressure cylinders of which the number is less than the number of the forming press main bodies arranged on a turntable. CONSTITUTION: When a polymeric material is charged in the cavity of the bottom force, the rod of a pressure cylinder is extended and a slide 5 falls with the falling of a slide member by the extension of the rod to press the top force to the bottom force. Subsequenlty, when a turntable is rotated clockwise, the engaging groove 7a of the slide member 7 is detached from the disc- shaped block 11a provided to the leading end of the rod of the pressure cylinder 11 to successively move to a lower B-position, a left C-position and an upper D-position by 90 deg.. The operation of a stopper operating cylinder, the taking-out of a formed product from the forces, the cleaning of the forces, the charging of the polymeric material into the bottom force and the operation of the pressure cylinder 11 are performed. By this constitution, economically advantageous effect is obtained with respect to production cost and maintenance cost.

    • PURPOSE:To enhance the transmittance of a magnetic force and to facilitate the brazing of a target by thinning the loading surface of a target supporting part freely detachably fixed in a magnet housing and providing a meandering cooling water passage on the rear with a bottom plate. CONSTITUTION:A target 2 is brazed to the target supporting part 3 and fixed to the rotatable housing 6 for a magnet 5, and a magnetic field is applied to the target 2. In this backing device 1 for the target 2 of this sputtering method, the supporting part 3 is formed by a backing plate 12 provided with a loading surface 11 and the peripheral part 15 thicker than the plate. The target 2 is brazed to the thin loading surface 11 and freely detachably fixed to the cylindrical peripheral wall 8 of the housing 6 at the peripheral part 15 by a bolt 4. The meandering cooling water passage 14 communicating with a water supply passage 20 and a water discharge passage (not shown in the figure) is formed on the rear of the supporting part 3, and the bottom plate 13 is brazed, closely attached and fixed. As a result, the target 2 is easily brazed, the transmittance of the magnetic field is enhanced, and cooling is efficiently carried out.
