    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for easily manufacturing a ceramic structure which has a porous layer composed of a dense body of plate form ceramics and ceramics calcined and integrated on a surface of the dense body, and which has the porous layer filled with particulates. SOLUTION: A particulate dispersion liquid SOL1 into which the particulates are dispersed and a laminate (structure before fillng) 20B of the porous layer 22 and the dense body 21 are prepared in this manufacturing method. Next, the structure before fillng is arranged at a prescribed position in a first container 41, an exposed face (upper face) of the porous layer 22 of the structure before fillng is exposed in the particulate dispersion liquid SOL1, at least one part of the exposed face (lower face of porous layer 23) of the structure 20B before fillng is exposed in a space via a through hole 41b, and a pressure difference is made to be formed between the upper face side of the porous layer and the lower face side of the structure before fillng. The particulate dispersion liquid passes from the upper face of the porous layer 22 through the lower face of the porous layer 23, and the porous layer 22 is filled with the particulates.
