After the mortar 9 is cured and strength attains a given value, the support frame 4 is moved forward through expansion of jacks 5 for moving a support frame in a state that the support frame 4 at a front part is contracted. The support frame 4 is expanded and forced into pressure contact with a segment ring, and the support frame 4 in the rear is contracted, and through contraction of the jack 5 for moving the support frame, the support frame 4 is moved forward. Subsequently, the support frame 4 in the rear is expanded and forced into pressure contact with the segment for support.

Mortar 9 is packed into the space formed by the side plates 3 of each steel shell 2 and the first and second intermediate projected bars 6 and 7 to connect the steel shells 2. Water-stop property can thus be kept and couplers can be easily connected.

Accordingly, a cost can be reduced, and the term of construction can be shortened, and a safety degree can be improved.

    • PURPOSE:To disperse and absorb stress generated in a road pavement section due to the expansion and contraction of a distance between bridge girders extending over a wide range, and to prevent cracking and a swelling phenomenon by installing an elastically deformed expansion plate and an elastic sheet at the end section of the bridge girder. CONSTITUTION:An expansion plate 3 made of steel has a protruding section filled with fillers 7 intruding in a clearance between bridge girders 1, 2, an elastic sheet 8A of approximately 4m in length in the direction of travelling is positioned onto the expansion plate 3 centering around the upper section of the protruding section, and an asphalt road pavement section is formed onto the elastic sheet 8A. The pavement section is composed of a first layer 10 and a second layer 11, and a wire gauze 12 is buried between the layers 10 and 11 in order to prevent the fine cracking of a paving surface. The elastic sheet 8A, the bridge girders 1, 2 and the first layer 11 are joined by a rubber asphalt group synthetic resin.
