    • PURPOSE:To reduce the construction cost of a boiler, without using a large-sized crane, by proceeding with the assembly work of the lower block and the further lower block constituting the boiler while the uppermost block is lifted up as high as a position where it can be connected with an intermediate block and connection work is carried out. CONSTITUTION:Upon completion of a framework 8 for a boiler, small-scale blocks consisting of a plurality of upper portions 1 and intermediate portions 2 are assembled on trucks 5a, 5b, and the upper part 2a and intermediate part 2b of the boiler are introduced into the boiler framework 8. The upper part 2a is lifted up by a center pole jack 9 on the top of the boiler framework 8 to be connected with the part 2b and, while this connection work is carried out, the assembly work of a lower block and a further lower block is carried out simultaneously on the trucks 5a, 5b. In such a manner, a boiler main body is constructed by successively repeating the work of lifting up and connecting the small-scale blocks, and the installation of auxiliary equipment such as pipelines and ducts in the boiler framework 8 can be carried out simultaneously. Accordingly, a construction period is shortened, and the cost of construction can be reduced.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the stages for installing a blast furnace by moving a lower safety deck toward the upper position while continuing the brick laying of a furnace bottom and carrying out the mounting of a barrel stave and the installation of the upper mantel of a shaft. CONSTITUTION:A bottom mantel 1 and a tuyere mantel 15 are first installed onto a foundation 22 and the lower safety deck 3 is attached thereto. Bottom bricks 24 are then lowered through a tap hole 16 into the bottom and the bricks are laid by using a hoist 18. A gondola 13 is installed on the deck 3 and the installation of the shaft mantel 2 is carried out simultaneously during such operation; thereafter the middle safety deck 19 is attached to the top edge of the upper mantel 2. The shaft mantel 8, the upper safety deck 11 and a gas capturing mantel 12 are successively attached while the tuyere stave 5 up to barrel stave 6 are attached by utilizing the deck 19 and using a hoist 20. The gondola 13 is then attached to a hoisting wire 25 by utilizing the upper safety deck 11 and the top end of the wire 25 is attached to the mantel 12. The deck 3 is moved upward and is attached to the barrel stave 6, then the bottom brick laying operation is continued.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an innovative method of constructing a multistory parking facility making use of existing heavy machinery instead of using large-scale heavy machinery, while requiring no space to install the existing heavy machinery in a small place. SOLUTION: The method is for constructing a multistory parking facility 10 having a pair of elevation guide mechanisms 42 and 43 for vertically movably guiding a vehicle mounting cage 12 having a vehicle mounting part 11 therein; a vertical shaft 15 through which the cage 12 moves up and down; a plurality of parking floors 16 provided one above another at positions adjacent the vertical shaft 16; and an entry floor 17 and an exit floor 18 both of which are located adjacent to the vertical shaft 15, at respective heights different from the heights of the parking floors 16. Using a lifting means 33 placed on an elevation base 25 vertically movably provided on elevation guide rails 13 and 14 being constructed to serve as the guide mechanisms 42 and 33 when completed, not less than one or two parking floors 16 are constructed in sequence from below as they are set at the heights of the guide rails 13 and 14. The guide rails 13 and 14 are extended upwards.
