    • PURPOSE:To obtain the container-shape rotary body of a centrifugal separator capable of being rotated at a high speed to automatically discharge impurities by forming the fitting surfaces of the respective opposed end surfaces and metal cylindrical projection part of carbon fiber reinforced plastic cylinders as taper surfaces expanding toward the interior of the cylinder and setting the taper angle theta of the taper surfaces to a specific value. CONSTITUTION:A metal cylinder 2 has a protruding part 3 having a trapezoidal cross section at the central part of the outer periphery thereof and carbon fiber reinforced plastic cylinders 1, 1 are arranged up and down in opposed relationship in the state holding the protruding part 3 therebetween so as to expose the surface of the protruding part and closely bonded and fixed to the surface of the metal cylinder 2. Taper surfaces (e) opened toward the center part of the cylinder are formed to the opposed end surfaces of the carbon fiber reinforced plastic cylinders 1 and the taper angle theta formed by the virtual line (y) parallel to the axial direction of the cylinder 1 and each of the taper surfaces (e) is set to 15-80 deg.C. The same taper surfaces (e)' are also formed to the loop parts bonded to the end surfaces of the carbon fiber reinforced plastic cylinder of the prtruding part 3 and both taper surfaces e, e'' are bonded to the fitting surfaces 4 of the opposed end surfaces of the cylinder 1 and the protruding part. Therefore, the deformation of the metal cylinder due to centrifugal force can be supressed and a large amount of a liquid can be treated.

SOLUTION: Cylindrical bodies 9 having hollow cross sections enlarging downward are stacked in multi-stories in a vertical direction via a tapered section 10, and also they are fitted without coming off by a friction force working on the tapered section 10 so as to form a hollow continuous reinforced body 11.     • PURPOSE:To make heat extraction uniform and to prevent the nonuniformity in the quality of a steel material in a curved type continuous casting machine by making the radius of arc on the inside wall surface of a casting mold in contact with the top surface side of a billet smaller than the difference between the radius of arc on the inside wall surface of the casting mold in contact with the bottom surface side of the billet and the casting thickness of the billet. CONSTITUTION:The arc AB and arc CD on the inside wall surface of a casting mold are respectively part of the circle having the radius RL of curvature on the top surface side (surface L) and the radius RF of curvature on the bottom surface side (surface F), and is the radius RL of curvature is so set as to be equal to the radius R'L of curvature smaller than the size determined by subtracting the casting thickness of a billet, as designated as (d), from the radius RF of curvature. For example, a fresh center E of curvature is set on the bisector of an angle AOB and the arc of the radius R'L running the point A and the point B is considered, then the restricting amt. between the inside wall of the casting mold is set about r/l=0.3-0.5% where said restricting amt. is designated as (r) and the length of the arc AB having the radius RL shown by the soild line as (l).
