    • Fluid operable apparatus has diaphragms 12, 14 reciprocable by fluid in respective chambers 16, 18. Respective sets of valves 144A, B, E, F; 144C, D. G. H are operable in response to movements of the second and first diaphragms 14, 12, respectively, to effect changeovers of fluid flow paths to and from the chambers 16, 18, respectively. First and second detents 110, 116 which have respective curvilinear mutually engageable surfaces, are reciprocable by respective diaphragms 12, 14 along paths which intersect one another. The motions of the detents 110, 116 relative to each other are orbits each about the other whereby changeover of the flow paths of either chamber 16, 18 is prevented unless the diaphragm 12, 14 reaches the end of its stroke preceding that changeover. Stops are provided to determine the maximum strokes of the diaphragms 12, 14.
