    • Liquid drug transfer device 160 for use with an infusion bag 40 containing an infusion liquid and having an injection port 41 , the injection port 41 terminating in an injection port tip 44 containing a self-sealing plug 46 with an exposed plug surface 47 , the injection port tip 44 having a trailing injection port rim 48 , the liquid drug transfer device 160 comprising an open ended housing 161 having a longitudinal housing axis 162 and including a universal injection port connector 250 , said universal injection port connector 250 having a longitudinal connector axis 251 co-directional with said longitudinal housing axis 162 and a closed support ring 252 defining a horizontal plane 253 transverse to said longitudinal connector axis 251 , said support ring 252 having a multitude of curved connector members 254 resiliently flexibly mounted thereon and a free connector member end 256 converging towards a connector aperture 257 underlying said support ring 252 from a direction of said open ended housing 161 such that said universal injection port connector 160 assumes an overall bowl like shape,the arrangement being such that on forced sliding insertion of the injection port tip 44 through said connector aperture 257 into said open ended housing 161 , the injection port tip 44 outwardly flexes said multitude of connector members 254 from their non-flexed position relative to said connector axis 251 for snapping behind the trailing injection port rim 48 , thereby precluding outward sliding withdrawal of the injection port tip 44 from said open ended housing 161 in a reverse direction to said forced sliding insertion.

    • Provided is an assembly for reconstitution of a substance comprising: a fluid injector (110) comprising a fluid reservoir and having a longitudinal axis; a receptacle (22) defining an interior volume and having a longitudinal axis; and a pressure equalizing device (10) connected between the fluid injector (110) and the receptacle (22) having a longitudinal axis, the pressure equalizing device (10) comprising: a container (12) for attachment to the receptacle (22), to permit pressure equalization between the container (12) and the receptacle (22), the container (12) comprising a first chamber (16) and a second chamber (14); and a fluid transfer member (24) having an access channel (30), connected between the fluid injector (110) and the interior volume of the receptacle (22), and a vent channel (28), connected between the interior volume of the receptacle (22) and the first chamber (16), wherein when the receptacle (22) is connected to the pressure equalizing device (10), the vent channel (28) establishes direct fluid communication between the first chamber (16) and the receptacle (22), and wherein the longitudinal axis of the pressure equalizing device (10), the longitudinal axis of the receptacle (22), and the longitudinal axis of the fluid injector (110) are aligned with or parallel to each other.
