    • The invention provides a pedal apparatus for an electric motorcar or for a motor vehicle having a throttle mechanism including: a brake pedal (2) having a brake auxiliary pad (5) to which a brake arm (6) is connected; and an accelerator pad (3) configured to be rotated in the lateral direction within a predetermined angle range for an accelerating operation, wherein the accelerator pad (3) is formed of a reinforced plastic and is formed with a convex-shaped projection (3a) at a midsection thereof, an accelerator arm (11) extending from a throttle position sensor (12) mounted on a vehicle body (14) and rotating a predetermined angle range is disposed in such a status in which a distal end of the accelerator arm (11) is in abutment with the accelerator pad (3), and the rotation angle detected by the rotation of the accelerator arm (11) is transmitted via transmitting means to an accelerator or a throttle mechanism that controls a driving motor via the throttle position sensor (12).

    • The invention relates to a brake actuating device of a vehicle, having a brake pedal lever which can be actuated by the driver and which is connected in a force-transmitting manner to a brake cylinder in order to actuate via the brake pedal lever a piston which is arranged in the brake cylinder, wherein an actuator is connected functionally between the piston and the brake pedal lever, which actuator is capable of varying the length of the force-transmitting connection between the brake pedal lever and the piston of the brake cylinder by means of a movable element, and wherein furthermore, a spring element is provided whose spring force which acts on the brake pedal lever varies, during the variation of the length of the force-transmitting connection between the brake pedal lever and the piston of the brake cylinder by means of the actuator, in such a way that the sum of said spring force and the force which acts from the brake cylinder on the brake pedal lever remains substantially unchanged. Here, the spring element is fastened with one end to the movable element and with the other end to the brake pedal lever via a traction mechanism which is guided by means of a cam track provided on the brake pedal lever. The cam track, which can pivot together with the brake pedal lever, and the spring element are designed such that a movement of the movable element into any possible position of the brake pedal lever does not generate a change, which is perceptible for the driver, of the pedal force at the brake pedal lever.
