摘要： A display apparatus includes pixel areas and a light blocking area between the pixel areas. The display apparatus includes a first base substrate, a thin film transistor, and first, second, and third color filters. The first color filter (R) has a first color, the second color filter (G) has a second color different from the first color, and the third color filter (B) has a third color different from the first and second colors. In the light blocking area, the thin film transistor, the first color filter (R), and the third color filter (B) at least partially overlap each other. The second color filter (G) in at least one pixel area is connected to an adjacent second color filter disposed in an adjacent pixel area by a bridge portion (GBR), and the bridge portion (GBR) is formed of the same material as the second color filter (G) and is disposed in the light blocking area.

A display panel of the present invention includes an active matrix substrate and a counter substrate, the active matrix substrate being provided with a plurality of gate lines and a plurality of source lines. The active matrix substrate includes, in a display region, a driving circuit provided with respect to each of the gate lines, for switching the gate line between a selected state and a non-selected state. The display panel further includes, in a non-installation region where the driving circuit is not provided, an aperture ratio adjustment member that changes an aperture ratio in the non-installation region stepwise, in order to decrease a difference between a luminance in an installation region where the driving circuit is provided and a luminance in the non-installation region.

First order spatial harmonics and associated artifacts are reduced by the distributed apertures and second order and higher harmonics are reduced by limiting pixel subtense angle seen by the viewer.
