摘要： Computer-implemented methods and related aspects for localizing a vehicle on a road of a road network are disclosed. The method comprises for a time step out of a plurality of consecutive time steps, obtaining a set of candidate states for the vehicle on the road, each candidate state being representative of a potential location of the vehicle in the road network. The method further comprises, for each candidate state of the set of candidate states, determining a probability of the vehicle being in that candidate state based on a combined probability value. Moreover, the method comprises determining a sequence of candidate states, over the plurality of consecutive time steps, which is associated with a highest probability out of a plurality of possible sequences of candidate states. Here, each of the plurality of possible sequences of candidate states includes one candidate state from each time step of the plurality of consecutive time steps. Furthermore, the method comprises outputting the road that the vehicle currently is on or a lane that the vehicle currently is in based on the determined sequence of states that is associated with the highest probability.

摘要： An autonomous traveling vehicle (10) performs data alignment processing (S4), priority order setting processing (S6), identification processing (S7), image matching processing (S8), and own-position estimation processing (S9). The data alignment processing (S4) rearranges a plurality of map data (M1) into a prescribed order. The identification processing (S7) identifies, as an identified group, a group (G2) that includes map image data (IM11) that is most similar to image data (IM2) when a prescribed condition is satisfied after the data alignment processing (S4). The priority order setting processing (S6) further rearranges the plurality of map data (M1) rearranged by the data alignment processing (S4), so that the map data (M1) belonging to the identified group is used preferentially in the image matching processing (S8).

摘要： A method for host vehicle navigation is provided. The method includes receiving, from an entity remotely located relative to the host vehicle, a sparse map associated with at least one road segment to be traversed by the host vehicle, wherein the sparse map includes a plurality of mapped navigational landmarks and at least one target trajectory, wherein both the plurality of mapped navigational landmarks and the at least one target trajectory were generated based on drive information collected from a plurality of vehicles that traveled previously along the at least one road segment, receiving point cloud information from a LIDAR system onboard the host vehicle, the point cloud information being representative of distances to various objects in an environment of the host vehicle, comparing the received point cloud information with at least one of the plurality of mapped navigational landmarks in the sparse map to provide a LIDAR-based localization of the host vehicle relative to the at least one target trajectory, determining at least one navigational action for the host vehicle based on the LIDAR-based localization of the host vehicle relative to the at least one target trajectory, and causing the at least one navigational action to be taken by the host vehicle.

摘要： According to one embodiment of the present invention, an electronic device is installed on a vehicle to detect vehicle driving behavior in multiple dimensions. The device includes a sensor unit that gathers driving information from the vehicle. It also features a road image analysis unit, which identifies an object area around the vehicle by analyzing images captured by a camera. Using deep learning techniques, the road image analysis unit combines the object area with the driving information to determine potential dangerous situations that may arise during driving. Additionally, the device includes a movement path analyzer that determines these dangerous situations by comparing vehicle location information obtained from a GPS device with GIS map data, utilizing map matching techniques.
