Weiterhin kann die Nadelmaschine (1) eine Nebenantriebseinrichtung (40) zum Bewegen der Nadelbalkenanordnung (10) in einer Förderrichtung (F) der Vliesbahn, die quer zur Einstichrichtung (E) verläuft, umfassen. Die Antriebseinrichtung (20) umfasst einen ersten Antrieb (22) und eine erste Hauptwelle (24), wobei an der ersten Hauptwelle (24) ein erster Hauptpleuel (26) exzentrisch gelagert ist, der die Hauptwelle (24) mit der Nadelbalkenanordnung (10) gelenkig verbindet. Die Nebenantriebseinrichtung (40) umfasst einen Nebenantrieb (42) und eine Nebenwelle (44), wobei an der Nebenwelle (44) ein Nebenpleuel (46) exzentrisch gelagert ist, der die Nebenwelle (44) mit der Nadelbalkenanordnung (10) gelenkig verbindet. Erfindungsgemäß ist mindestens einer aus erstem Antrieb (22) und Nebenantrieb (42) derart angesteuert, dass er die Haupt- bzw. Nebenwelle (24, 44) zyklisch um einen vorbestimmten Drehwinkel (α, γ) hin- und herbewegt.

    • A toggle release mechanism (100) comprises a base element (102), a toggle element (104) and an actuating rod (142).
