    • The invention is a high-pressure valve (10) forming part of a common-rail diesel injection circuit (58) of an internal combustion engine. The valve (10) comprises a body (12) to which is fixed an electromagnet (14) the field frame (28) of which has a radial disclike part provided with a central hole joining an interior surface opposite to an exterior surface. The body (12) is provided with a cylindrical exterior surface for centring and with a radial bearing surface. The field frame (28) fits over the body around the centring surface, the exterior disclike surface being in surface contact with the bearing surface of the body. The coil (52) of the electromagnet (14) is fitted into the tubular space between the body (12) and the field frame (28) itself closed by a closure ring (54). Sealing between the body (12) and the field frame (28) is provided by a seal (46) compressed by a packing washer (48) against the centring surface and against the interior disclike surface. The field frame (28) is thus immobilized on the body (12) by said packing washer (48).

      A coil (96) attracting an armature (80) is housed in a main body part (70). A valve part (82) adapted to rest on and move off a valve seat (74) is formed integral with the armature (80). The valve seat (74) is disposed at a location between a high-pressure path (78) and a low-pressure path (83). When the valve part (82) rests on the valve seat (74), the high-pressure path (78) and the low-pressure path (83) are disconnected from each other, while, when the valve part (82) moves off the valve seat (74), the high-pressure path (78) and the low-pressure path (83) communicate with each other. A through-hole (86) is formed in a portion of the armature (80) through which a smaller amount of magnetic flux from the coil (96) passes. A guide pin (102) secured to the main body part (70) engages with the through-hole (86).
