    • A vehicle height adjustment apparatus (10) includes: vehicle height adjustment units (12) respectively provided to correspond to wheels of a vehicle body, and adjusting a vehicle height in response to the supply and discharge of a working fluid; a supply source (26) of the working fluid; opening and closing valves (24) interposed between the vehicle height adjustment units and the supply source; and a control unit (56) adjusting a vehicle height for each of the vehicle height adjustment units to at least one of a first vehicle height suitable for at least one of boarding and deboarding, and a second vehicle height suitable for travelling, wherein when the control unit acquires preparation information indicative of the transition of a preparation state to at least one of boarding and deboarding preparation states, the control unit adjusts the vehicle height adjustment units from the second vehicle height to the first vehicle height.

    • The invention relates to an air suspension system of a motor vehicle, having at least one bellows (23, 24) assigned to an air spring of at least one vehicle axle, which can be connected to a main pressure line (22) and can be blocked off with respect to the latter via a connecting line (29, 30) provided with a level control valve (25, 26), wherein the main pressure line (22) can be supplied with air via a supply line (9) provided with a compressor (5) and an air dryer (7), and can be vented via a vent line (11) that branches off between the compressor (1) and the air dryer (7) and is provided with a discharge valve (10), and wherein a pressure reservoir (33) is optionally provided, which can be connected to the main pressure line (22) and can be blocked off with respect to the latter via a connecting line (35) provided with a storage valve (34). In order to set different flow velocities of the mass flow in a simple and cost-effective way when supplying air to and venting the least one bellows (23, 24), according to the invention the at least one bellows (23; 24) of the air spring arranged on at least one vehicle axle or on at least one vehicle side is connected to the main pressure line (22) and blocked off with respect to the latter via at least two parallel connecting lines (29, 31; 30, 32) each provided with a level control valve (25, 27; 26, 28).

    • A kneeling valve assembly for transport vehicles to enable a quick and convenient kneeling operation to permit safe ingress and egress from the vehicle. The kneeling valve assembly employs a suspension member positioned between the vehicle body and the axle of the transport vehicle to raise and lower the transport vehicle relative to a ground level. The kneeling valve assembly includes a first valve that is operable to selectively permit fluid flow between the inlet passage and the suspension member to raise the transport vehicle relative to the ground level. A second valve is provided that is operable to selectively permit fluid flow between the suspension member and the exhaust passage to lower the transport vehicle relative to the ground level. A leveling trigger is fluidly coupled to the inlet passage and is operable to determine a height of the transport vehicle relative to the ground level. Finally, a third valve is provided that is operable to selectively permit fluid flow between the inlet passage and the suspension member to maintain a predetermined height above the ground level.
