    • A double valve (10) is reset when a source of pressurized fluid is connected to a reset port. First and second reset pistons (38,64) are actuated in response to the pressurized fluid to reset first and second movable valve units (18,20) of the double valve (10), respectively. First and second pilot chambers (74,75;81,82) are vented when the first and second reset pistons are actuated, the first and second pilot chambers corresponding to first and second pilot valves (76,83) for actuating the first and second movable valve units, respectively. The venting prevents the first and second movable valve units from moving out of a deactuated position, respectively. The source of pressurized fluid is removed from the reset port. The first reset piston is retracted so that the second pilot chamber receives pressurized fluid while the first pilot chamber continues to be vented. The second reset piston is retracted after a predetermined delay time following retraction of the first reset piston, the predetermined delay time being sufficient to allow the second pilot chamber to become substantially pressurized. If the second pilot valve is actuated when the second reset piston is retracted, then the pressurized fluid in the second pilot chamber drives the second movable valve unit out of a deactuated position during a time that pressurized fluid in the first pilot chamber is insufficient to drive the first movable valve unit out of a deactuated position.

    • A control valve apparatus couples pressurized fluid to first and second actuators using first and second double valves (30,31). The first double valve (30) includes first and second crossover passages (70,71) and first and second pilots (34,36). The second double valve (31) includes third and fourth crossover passages (72,73) and third and fourth pilots (67,50). A first interconnection (55) couples the first crossover passage (70) with the third pilot fluid inlet (47). A second interconnection (56) couples the second crossover passage (71) with the fourth pilot fluid inlet (50). A third interconnection (57) couples the third crossover passage (72) with the first pilot fluid inlet (34). A fourth interconnection (58) couples the fourth crossover passage (73) with the second pilot fluid inlet (36). Thus, operation of each pilot depends upon receiving pressurized fluid from the other double valve which is only present when the other double valve is not in a fault condition.

    • A kneeling valve assembly for transport vehicles to enable a quick and convenient kneeling operation to permit safe ingress and egress from the vehicle. The kneeling valve assembly employs a suspension member positioned between the vehicle body and the axle of the transport vehicle to raise and lower the transport vehicle relative to a ground level. The kneeling valve assembly includes a first valve that is operable to selectively permit fluid flow between the inlet passage and the suspension member to raise the transport vehicle relative to the ground level. A second valve is provided that is operable to selectively permit fluid flow between the suspension member and the exhaust passage to lower the transport vehicle relative to the ground level. A leveling trigger is fluidly coupled to the inlet passage and is operable to determine a height of the transport vehicle relative to the ground level. Finally, a third valve is provided that is operable to selectively permit fluid flow between the inlet passage and the suspension member to maintain a predetermined height above the ground level.
