摘要： The present invention relates to a cabin cooling system (1); wherein the vortex tube and desiccant are used together within the air conditioning system, the air in the system is dried before it is cooled and does not require extra power consumption; and which basically comprises at least one vortex tube (3) wherein the air leaving through its cold outlet is used for cabin air circulation and the air leaving through its hot outlet is used for regeneration, at least one liquid desiccant (4) which enables the cold air leaving the vortex tube (3) to be dried at a fixed temperature; and which performs circulation and regeneration processes by utilizing waste pressure and heat upon delivery of the air leaving the liquid desiccant (4) to the air amplifiers (5, 9).

摘要： A process for removing acid gases from a water vapor-containing fluid stream comprises a) providing an absorption liquid which is incompletely miscible with water; b) treating the fluid stream in an absorption zone with the absorption liquid to obtain an acid gas-depleted treated fluid stream and an acid gas-loaded absorption liquid; c) directing the treated fluid stream to a rehydration zone and treating the fluid stream with an aqueous liquid to volatilize at least part of the aqueous liquid; d) regenerating the loaded absorption liquid to expel the acid gases at least in part and obtain a regenerated absorption liquid, and directing the regenerated absorption liquid to step b); and e) separating, from the absorption liquid, an aqueous liquid that has condensed in the absorption zone, and directing the aqueous liquid to step c). The process allows for an efficient removal of water accumulated in the absorption liquid system.

摘要： A system for managing water content in one or more electrochemical cells, each comprising a plurality of electrodes and a liquid ionically conductive medium, includes a first gas-phase conduit for receiving humid gas-phase associated with the electrochemical cell. The system also includes a desiccator unit communicated to the first air conduit and configured for extracting water from the humid gas-phase. The system additionally includes a heater for selectively heating the desiccant to selectively release extracted water from the desiccator unit. The system further includes a return conduit communicating the desiccator unit to the ionically conductive medium for receiving extracted water from the desiccator unit, and directing the extracted water to the ionically conductive medium.
