    • The invention relates to an actuating unit for an electromechanically actuated disc brake for motor vehicles. Said actuating unit substantially comprises a drive unit (1) or an electromotor (10), an actuating element (7) which is used to engage one (4) of two friction linings (4, 5) which are displaceably mounted in a brake caliper, with a brake-disc (6) and a reduction gear (2). A freewheel mechanism (35) which co-operates with the electromotor (10) acts as a parking brake. In order to guarantee a high level of operational reliability for the parking brake and to make said parking brake resistant to external influences, in particular, oscillations or vibrations, the invention is characterised in that the freewheel mechanism (35) is configured in such a way, that its clamping action is produced by a positive-fit torque transfer and that, in its actuated state, it prevents a rotational movement of a bearing (24), in which the rotor (11) of the electromotor (10) is mounted.

    • The invention relates to an electromechanically operated disk brake for automobiles comprised of a floating brake caliper (1) and an actuating unit arranged on the brake caliper (1). The actuating unit (2) contains an electric motor (6) with a connected in series roller gear drive (7) which adjusts an actuating element (30) with a return path of the threaded rollers (12, 13, 14, 15). Said actuating element (30) brings one of the two displaceable friction linings (4, 5) which are arranged in the brake caliper (1) into contact with a disk brake (3). According to the invention, the spindle (16) of the roller gear drive (7) is operated by the electric motor (6) and the actuating element (30) is formed by the threaded nut (11) of said roller gear drive (7) in order to especially minimize the influence of disturbing force and movements.

The output signals from the force-measuring arrangement (23) can be fed to a control circuit (26) which influences the voltage and/or the current fed to the electric motor (6).
