摘要： Provided are a method for manufacturing a superconducting wire material in which the superconducting current is not saturated even when a superconducting layer is made into a thick film, and a superconducting wire material. A method for manufacturing a superconducting wire material (1) in which a superconducting layer (13) is formed on a metal substrate (11) interposed by an intermediate layer (12), wherein the method for manufacturing the superconducting wire material is characterized in including a heating step for heating the metal substrate (11) up to the film-formation temperature of a superconducting film for forming the superconducting layer (13), a film-formation step for forming a superconducting film having a film thickness of at least 10 nm and no more than 200 nm on the intermediate layer (12), and a cooling step for reducing the metal substrate (11) temperature to a level below the film-formation temperature of the superconducting film, the method also being characterized in that the superconducting film-formation steps, comprising the heating step, the film-formation step, and the cooling step, are performed a plurality of times.

摘要： A power recovery system is provided which is capable of stabilizing the power recovery rate thereof. The power recovery system 1 includes: a Stirling engine 10 that generates power by supply of cold heat to an upper portion 16a of a cylinder 16; and a vaporization device 20 that stores a liquid therein in such a manner that the liquid is kept in contact with the upper portion 16a of the cylinder 16 and vaporizes the liquid by supplying the cold heat of the liquid to the upper portion 16a of the cylinder 16. The vaporization device 20 includes a liquid container 21 which stores the liquid therein in such a manner that the liquid is kept in contact with the upper portion 16a of the cylinder 16, and an outer container 22 embracing the liquid container 21 and defining a space portion 30 around the liquid container 21. The space portion 30 communicates with the liquid container 21 and an exhaust vent 22a. Gas vaporized in the liquid container 21 passes between the liquid container 21 and an outer wall surface 23 a of a heat insulating material 23 during passage thereof from the liquid container 21 to the exhaust vent 22a through the space portion 30.

摘要： An axial flow compressor 10 includes: an electric motor 22 including a rotating shaft 22a; a compression portion 20 including a driving shaft 40 connected without a speed-up gear to the rotating shaft 22a of the electric motor 22 and a rotor 31 rotating together with the driving shaft 40, the compression portion 20 driving the driving shaft 40 and thereby compressing a working fluid; and a velocity reducing portion 24 having a space for reducing the flow velocity of a working fluid discharged from a discharge opening of the compression portion 20. The rotating shaft 22a of the electric motor 22 is connected to the end of the driving shaft 40 on the side of the discharge opening; and the velocity reducing portion 24 is disposed so as to surround the electric motor 22.

摘要： A carbon dioxide clathrate having a lump diameter enough to precipitate on a desired abyssal position of the sea without being drifted by a seawater flow of the abyss can be produced by bringing an aqueous solution into contact with carbon dioxide with the interposition of an interface in a reactor and retaining this contact; adjusting the pressure in the reactor to 13 atm or more, the temperature of the aqueous solution to a level of more than 5 DEG C to 10 DEG C, the temperature of the interface to a level of more than 10 DEG C to 15 DEG C and the temperature of a lug inserted into the aqueous solution to a level of more than 0 DEG C to 5 DEG C; producing/growing the carbon dioxide clathrate on the lug; and then heating the lug to a temperaturte of more than 10 DEG C to 30 DEG C to separate/drop the carbon dioxide clathrate therefrom.

摘要： The known structure for removing soot or the like adhered to heat transfer tubes (2) of a heat-exchanger by providing a steel ball scatterer (3) above the heat transfer tubes (2) and intermittently scattering steel balls towards the heat transfer tubes (2), is improved. 摘要： A process for treating effluent from a flue-gas desulfurization system wherein the resulting gypsum is removed, comprises filtering the gypsum and fly ash free effluent by a filter, transferring the filtrate to an electrodialyzer wherein cation-exchange membranes and univalent anion-exchange membranes are alternately set up, concentrating chlorine ions in the solution therein by dialysis, further concentrating the solution by evaporation in an evaporator, kneading the concentrated solution with cement or a mixture of cement and coal ash to a solid matter with no harm, and thereafter abandoning for landfill; and an apparatus for treating effluent from a flue-gas desulfurization system, comprising a filter for filtering the effluent to a turbidity low enough for treatment by an electrodialyzer wherein the effluent is to be separated into concentrated and dilute solutions, the electrodialyzer equipped with an alternate arrangement of cation- and anion-exchange membranes, with concentration and dilution compartments alternately provided between the both ion-exchange membranes, means for conducting the concentrated solution to a step for final disposal, and means for recycling the dilute solution as makeup water to the desulfurization system.
