    • To facilitate manufacturing with high dimensional accuracy a cover of an airbag apparatus is provided with a door frame movable member and a door frame fixation member at a rear face of an interior panel, in which a door portion opens while the door frame movable member is lifted. When an inflator 14 is operated to blow out gas, a door frame movable member 32 is moved upward (lifted) by being pressed upward by an expanding airbag 12. The module cover 20 is burst along a tear line 22b and a door portion 24 is cut off and separated from the surrounding module cover 20. The door portion 24 is further moved upward together with the door frame movable member 32 and a tear line 22a of the door portion 24 is burst by being pressed by the airbag 12. The door portion 24 and each of the lining plate portions 32a, 32b start to open like a door being separated into two ways in the left and right directions as shown in FIG. 2, and the airbag 12 is expanded into a vehicle cabin. The door frame fixation member 34, the door frame movable member 32, and the module cover 21 are integrally formed by means of double-shot molding process (Fig. 1).

    • An airbag cover (22) includes a panel member (221) composed of a substrate (221a), a foam layer (221b), and a surface layer (221c). A fracture groove (38) is formed on the reverse surface of the panel member (221) so as to define in a fracture-opening section (221A) thereof two fracture-opening subsections (222a, 222b) openable in the manner of a casement. The fracture groove (38) has a depth corresponding to the thickness of the substrate (221a) or a depth slightly greater than the thickness of the substrate (221a). This configuration prevents generation of sink marks or depressions on the surface of the cover. The fracture groove (38) is composed of a straight centre fracture groove section, two V-shaped branch fracture groove sections (38b, 38c) extending from the opposite ends of the centre fracture groove section, and side fracture groove sections (38d, 38e) extending from distal ends of the V-shaped branch fracture groove sections (38b, 38c) in opposite directions perpendicularly to the centre fracture groove section.

    • Durch die Erfindung wird Airbageinrichtungsgrundmodul (1) mit einem Schusskanal (2) und in einer Austrittsöffnung (8) des Schusskanals (2) für einen Airbag wenigstens einem Airbagklappenträger (3) einer Airbagklappe (18) geschaffen, wobei dass Airbagklappenträger (3) separat vom Schusskanal (2) ist und mittels eines Gewebes (4) mit dem Schusskanal (2) gelenkig verbunden ist. Ferner schafft die Erfindung eine Airbageinrichtung (13) mit einem Gasgenerator (15) und einem Airbag (16), die hinter wenigstens einer Airbagklappe (18) angeordnet sind, die infolge eines Auslösens des Gasgenerators (15) und/oder dadurch Aufblasens des Airbags (16) zu öffnen ist, um den Airbag (16) durch die durch das Öffnen der Airbagklappe (18) frei gewordene Austrittsöffnung (8) austreten zu lassen, sowie mit einem Airbageinrichtungsgrundmodul (1). Ein Herstellungsverfahren für ein Airbageinrichtungsgrundmodul (1) zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass das Gewebe (4) teilweise in den Schusskanal (2) und teilweise in den Airbagklappenträger (3) integriert wird, wie insbesondere durch Eingießen, Umspritzen und/oder Durchdringen. Weiterhin wird ein Herstellungswerkzeug (23) für ein Airbageinrichtungsgrundmodul (1) geschaffen, wobei Formhohlräume (25, 26) zur Befüllung mit Material zur Bildung des Schusskanals (2) und des Airbagklappenträgers (3) durch einen Halteraum (29) zur Aufnahme des Gewebes (4) verbunden sind, das teilweise in den Schusskanal (2) und teilweise in den Airbagklappenträger (3) eingegossen wird.
