In embodiments of the invention, the oil slinger (108) is comprised of a disk (112) coupled to the crankshaft assembly (110) of the device (106) being lubricated (e.g., an engine, pump, compressor, or the like) so that rotation of the crankshaft assembly (110) rotates the disk (112) for splashing lubricating oil from the crankcase's oil sump (102) onto the moving parts of the device (106) being lubricated by the lubricating system (100).

摘要： In an oil mist generation system, an oil slinger is disposed in an oil tank and is rotated by a crankshaft, the oil slinger scattering oil store in the oil tank by the rotation of the oil slinger so as to generate an oil mist. The oil mist generation system includes a drive gear provided on the crankshaft, and at least three oil slingers supported on three support shafts and simultaneously driven by the drive gear, the three support shafts being arranged around the drive gear. Therefore, besides a circular shape, various shapes can be imparted to the peripheral wall of the oil tank.

摘要： In a handheld type four-cycle engine, a valve operation mechanism includes a camshaft rotatably supported in a cylinder head so as to open and close an intake valve and an exhaust valve and a timing transmission placed on one side outside an engine main body and providing association between a crankshaft and the camshaft, and a centrifugal clutch for power output is mounted on the crankshaft on the opposite side outside the engine main body. The timing transmission and the centrifugal clutch being positioned at the two ends of the crankshaft improves the weight balance, the centre of gravity of the engine can be made as close to the central part of the crankshaft as possible, which, together with the reduced weight, can enhance the operability of the engine.

摘要： An oil reservoir chamber, a crank chamber and a valve operating chamber are provided in an engine body. The oil reservoir chamber and the crank chamber are in communication with each other through a through-hole. The crank chamber and the valve operating chamber are in communication with each other through a one-way valve which is opened upon an increase in pressure in the crank chamber. The valve operating chamber and the oil reservoir chamber are in communication with each other through orifices, so that an oil mist produced in the oil reservoir chamber is circulated to the oil reservoir chamber, the crank chamber, the valve operating chamber and the oil reservoir chamber by utilizing a pressure pulsing in the crank chamber. Thus, it is possible to perform the circulation of the lubricating oil without use of a special oil pump with any operative position of an engine.

摘要： A handheld powered tool (20) is provided which is intended to be carried by an operator during use. The power tool (20) has a frame (22), including a handle (24, 26) to be grasped by the operator, an implement (32) affixed to the frame (22) having a rotary input member (64) and a small four-cycle aluminum internal combustion engine (30) attached to the frame for driving the implement. A crankshaft (36) is journaled to the engine block for rotation about a crankshaft axis. A piston (38) reciprocates within the bore (34) and is connected to the crankshaft by a connecting rod (40) having oil splasher (60) formed thereon for intermittently engaging the oil within the enclosed oil reservoir (58) to splash lubricate the engine. The engine (30) is provided with a cylinder head (42) assembly defining a compact combustion chamber (44) having a pair of overhead intake exhaust ports (46, 52) cooperating intake and exhaust valves (50, 56). A lightweight high powered engine (30) is thereby provided having relatively low HC and CO emissiions.
